EVGA all the way....have had their products from day 1...one rma...and it went flawless...the customer service at EVGA is second to none...Gigabyte on the other hand...can't comment...but as far as a-1 service for the customer,, EVGA for the win..

For the same money, why wouldn't you do the 760?

DJ are you referring to my original 760 or 670? If so, the 670 is slightly more powerfull and a better deal while they try and clear out inventory. If it were regular price I would do the 760 instead, but am now leaning to a 770 2gb.

This is one of the primary reasons I still want to stick with Evga..this concerns the RMA of my GTX460 SC-1 gig..they are sending me a new GTX460-2 gig...

Your
Question:

in regards to serial number xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx , I assume this
is the replacement video card..is there any possibility of getting the part
number? Was just curious as to see what is coming back and whether I will still
be able to run SLI.

Your
Answer:

Hi Dean,

The part number is 02G-P3-1386-KR and you can see the specs here. Unfortunately
it will not SLI with your other card as it does not have the same amount of
RAM.  Please contact us back once you receive the replacement and we can
setup another RMA on the this card to replace with the same part number as the
current replacement to get you back into SLI.  We can also request a
pre-paid shipping label to be e-mailed to you to assist with the shipping due
to breaking the SLI.  I apologize for any inconvenience.

I am also currently bidding on an EVGA GTX680 that is 4 months old....see what happens

So with the advent of BF4 and the ATI direct API and the new game systems like PS 4 and Xbox One using ATI/AMD who wouldn't want to do that?

Since they are willing to cover all the costs..why not? This is way beyond what I expected, it is just incredible to see customer service go this far. I honestly figured that I would get a reply of "sorry nothing we can do"

I'm an EVGA fan. My last 5 cards were from them and I've have had no problems. I'm currently rocking 2 680's in SLI. Good luck with whatever card you end up with!

So today UPS delivered my 2nd vid card from EVGA, opened the box and5265f6e964d91_560.jpg

So even though I have a 670 now...I thought screw it..try it again and see if I get a pair of 560Ti's

Your Question:

re serial number xxxxxxxxxxxxxx, I thought the purpose of this RMA was to get another matching 460 so I could resume running my SLI?

Your Answer:

Hello,

It looks like the RMA was not set up to indicate that the card was in an SLI system. I apologize for this oversight, as it appears we set up the RMA for you. Like one of the other techs mentioned in his email, since we broke your SLI, we can replace your other card with a matching one to your new one. Just provide us the serial number of your other card, and we'll get that set up for you along with a pre-paid shipping label.

Regards,
EVGA
