Last week we saved 3 dogs, and today we pulled a momma cat and her 4 kittens, which were due to be gassed after 4pm this evening if no one got them, and another mom and kitten. All are safe and after a week or two with us, and they are well I will place them up for adoption with no fee, just looking for a good happy home for them. Millions of shelter animals are killed each year, very bad most suffer in a gas chamber, sometimes having to go thru it more than once. Yeah the county pound is just up the road from us, BUT the lady who was helping us was very discouraging, and just seemed like she was going to rip our application up. So we went to another neighboring humane society with much nicer people. There going to allow us to foster a one for a week to see how she does with our dog (Siberian Husky). If everything works out going back in and paying for the adoption fee.
