This is the code error I get when PC shuts down, its usually when trying to play the new games that came out this last days, Watch_Dogs, Wolfenstein, Wildstar, probably others will do the same didn't try, tho I had problems at first with BF4 when it came out randomly shutting down, now it doesn't shut down anymore (been stable for more than 5 months for BF4 only). Googled the problem many ppl does have same problem, but not same solution, I've tried to do what they did to make it stable and don't shutdown, but doesn't work.

Have you tried resetting your BIOS to factory defaults? it it blue screening when it gives you this error? what OS are you running?

have you tried memtest and chkdsk to verify that is it not bad memory or a bad hard drive?

Also do you have  a PSU tester? Random shutdowns can be caused by spikes in the voltage.

Basically it could be a ton of stuff.. start with the easy stuff first. make sure you don't have any old drivers installed, try rolling back your windows updates to before you were having this issue, make sure all drivers are up to date. run memtest, and chkdsk, reset your bios to defaults, and try to test your psu.

Also if you can upload the crash dump file. sometimes it will have more specific information than just the event ID info.

The dump file from the error would help a lot too. sometimes it will tell you exactly what driver (if its a driver) causing the crash.. and if it says its that driver and you try downgrading or upgrading the driver and it still crashes might be faulty hardware.

I had Win 8.1 (Retail, bought it), today after I posted I did a clean format didn't do that in like 6 months, now lets see how it goes. Went to Win 7, since I don't like Win 8.1 that much anymore.

-CPU: i7 3770k 3.5Ghz

-Mobo: MSI MPOWER Z77

-GPU: Saphire AMD 7970 Vapor-X GHz Edition

-RAM: G Skill Ripjaws Z DDR3 1866Mhz PC3-14800 16gb 4x4GB CL9

-PSU: AeroCool Strike-X 800W 80Plus Silver

I have the latest BIOS update. Version 17.12, Updated: 10/30/2013, Description: Support ATI/AMD 7970 / 7770 VGA Card.

@@mouselad, If I get the same error again when I try to make it happen again, I'll post the dump file, don't have it right now since I formated.

Also if it will still happen I will cl cmos maybe that will help, I'll post on new activity.

@@KaptCrunch x64 Bits.

@@Damage_inc- , I've tested my CPU and RAM, with Memtest and Prime95 (I let the more than 8 hours running), everything stable, low temperatures max was 58-60 Celsius, tonight I will test my GPU, if that isn't gonna fail, I'll CL CMOS, and lets see if it randomly Shutsdown when playin games, If CL CMOS doesn't fix it, then I think its a faulty Motherboard, or the PSU, I don't have neither of those to change them and try, still have the warranty for another year or so, so, if it still fails I'll send them the pc and give me new Mobo and PSU.

Ty guys for the help <3

Did the memtest find any errors at all? I normally let that test run at least 12 hours or more. Just to be certain the one I prefer is http://www.memtest.org/

Another thing you could do is a clean install of Windows if you have not already.

If you are able I would try Windows 7. I have a motherboard that is a few years old and I honestly don't think it runs nearly as stable under Windows 8.1.

Also, I do CPU overclocking and I know for some that can be an issue with Windows 8.1

Hope that helps, I finally got my system stable after months of random crashes, BSODs, etc., of course I only had issues trying to run BF4! Turned out I think the biggest issue I had was all 6 sticks of RAM I had installed had errors. Found those errors after extensive testing of EACH module and used the above memtest utility.

Feel free to hit me up if you want to talk more. I have also been in the IT support industry going on 15 years.

These past days I've done all the test I could possibly do, and everything looks fine, I contacted the company I bought the PC from (bought only the parts, then build it), I'm waiting for their response.

Thank you guys for helping me :D

Yeah you would want to check the temperatures of your pc cause many BSOD's happen due to a component reaching a high tempurature that you wouldnt notice. You would want to download HWMonitor for free and monitor your temperatures of your computer. It's very handy I run it every time I start my PC. It tells you the minimum and maximum temperatures components have reached that day.

try checking thermal paste on pro- update  Bios to latest, try previous titals like bf3 etc and see if same happens , if not then your issue  is with graphics card and ram. either change ram settings in bios to default and role back graphics to latest offical and work up to beta then latest.

Do this with graphics card first and let me know if yo have any issues with bf3 / titan fall or others , testing on diff graphics  settings in game  can also help , dont go max at start just play on Med-High. This sounds like a heat issue to me on card with latest update .

Bf4 causes corrupt data in the Hdd and Ssd.  I am assuming windows probably recovered the missing files finally. I ended up having to do a complete format. Starting out fresh and using non-beta drivers via video card software provider. I noticed shortly after playing bf4 that the same problems began happening on all other MAJOR graphic demanding games. Its like there was memory dumps occuring during gameplay of bf4 and the memory was relative to GPU driver files. All because most new beta drivers made lately were tweaked in a certain way to try to help make a broken game "Bf4" work properly. Try running if you have not already a non beta driver. On top of this. Consider formatting and starting out new. P.s. We have the same mobo Spike. It might be the mobo. Its a finiky model and even though I love it ...its still questionable at best.
