Apparently my PC is no longer good for BF4.... which is why i have not been playing it for months...

you need to up your ram at least to 8gigs also a better cpu then try to run bf4 what is your mother board and what can it handle as in ram or cpu

so it was running bf4 before what happen when it could not handle it any more do you have a program to cut unneeded programs from running in the back ground?advanced systemcare has a free version that has a turbo boost in it which will let you shut down unneeded programs which will free up cpu and ram so they can be used in gaming

If your Cpu is that old you will have to change the motherboard for the socket type depending on what cpu you want to get, I'd either recommend a quad from intel or an 8-core from amd and when u change your ram I'd go with something at 8-16 gb ram with over 1866 mhz

Your CPU and RAM memory is not good enough for BF 4.

 

I suggest a i5 or i7 CPU and 8 Gb of RAM--> better 16 GB

 

If you gonna upgrade your CPU.... you also need a new MoBo ;)
