Ask @@iboomboom about how he has to reboot his car while he's driving...

!FU. It's called Electronic Stability Program (ESP). It protects the car by disabling extra power to the transmission when it detects wheel spin, thanks to the shitty bay area roads. I "reboot", as you put it, because basically I know I am not actually spinning or skidding all over the road. Plus my tires are spent, that makes a big difference in the ESP detecting an over spin. Once I have the new tires on, I will take you out on a drive over the Calaveras bend, you will how well planted the car is around 50 degree turns.

Who the f is iboomboom and why is he so popular?

Yeah fuck that guy, I don't trust him.

Please tell me that you don't drive a Prius. If you say yes I will call for a vote to have you immediately expelled from the clan.

If your getting tickets because your not paying attention, how is a car driving at it's own activated speed going to help. If you drive through a red light, your going to crash at whatever speed. There is no cure for stupid. It will never sell, except to the ECO asses. My less than sincere apoligies to all the ECO asses out there.

@@eidolonFIRE is referring to my car's ESP system engaging and limiting the power output to transmission. When this is happens my RPM is limited to 2500. So when I get to a stop sign, I turn off the car and turn it back on and the system is cleared of the "hazardous" event detected. Hence the term reboot. This is the extreme circumstance normally the computer just applies braking to the right wheel so the car stays straight and doesn't spin out of control. It's a standard feature on Mercedes. I have experienced it more during the rainy season since my tire tread is is low and I have been procrastinating with the tire change..

Yes Sir! San Jose. @@eidolonFIRE joked about my car's ESP, and then one thing lead to another.... you will find we have an attention span less than that of a 3 years old in XI. We jump from topic to topic in the same thread until nobody knows what anyone is talking about in the first place.

Starting to really see the ADHD show up in these threads. I am in the walnut creek concord area and use to work in San Jose. Now I understand your tire question BoomBoom. use to drive on average 45 k a year   no ford would have held up to that and I went through a set of tires yearly

I love my '09 F150....but it is 6 years old now...so it may be time to start thinking about an upgrade. Thinking this F450 might have my name on it.
