It is tomorrow the 5 of may 70 years that they libertate us In 1947 there where 18000 soldiers buried than they started to open the graves and send a lot back to America Now at this time 8301 soldiers are still there buried Latin crosses 8122 Star of David 179 Missing in action 1722 Sets of brothers 40 Medal of Honor 6 What was special this time 10 years ago Bush was there and now they gave over 3000 headstones a picture so that we could see ho was buried there With tears in my eyes i always walk there between the graves Here are some pictures Mainstreet all trees with ribbons begin and and left right a pictureTHe Mourning Woman Statue Hemps, BigPapaDean, codpiece and 6 others 9 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options... I was very impressed with the Dutch and their remberance of the war. Even the King and Queen participated in the festivities. I am always impressed with the Dutch and the French in Normandy for their appreciation of the Allies in the war.
