I run MSI Afterburner and turn the fan speed up to 100% and I run cool. Processor is liquid cooled, so no overheating there. I blow the dust out of my computer every other week to keep it clean... So no dust in the machine at all. The RAM was recently changed to some used RAM... so I have a feeling that it's the culprit... I just got 2 new jobs (THANK GOD!!) But it will be a LONG while before I can afford RAM... I'm so far behind on my bills, it will take me close to a year to get caught back up it's usually the last change you made before the issue started... definately sounds like that 'used ram' is to blame seeing later posts that now indicate you used 2 different types of RAM in there... big no no. There is some free software out there so don't get discouraged if the first one you try wants money to use their program. here is a decent article to look over with links to software. Also even a small change in temp (not necessarily overheating) can cause this. Simple things like dried up thermal compound between the cpu and the cooler can do it.it's good practice for gamers to change this thermal compound out every 18 to 24 months depending on how much you use the machine http://www.pcgamer.com/the-best-benchmarking-tools-for-testing-your-cpu/ let us know if any of the test results seem off or not Note: also do a good visual check on the motherboard. All boards have lots of capacitors to make things run. As boards age these can swell up and actually start leaking . So a good close inspection (magnifier may be needed) and just look for visual defects i didn't watch all of this video but it will give you an idea what to look for and what they look like Identifying bad capacitors on motherboards and adapter cards https://youtu.be/ngA4k32jLGc Edited January 18, 2017 by Slackernet LightHammer02
 So today, I called Time Warner Cable after my brother told me about their new "Spectrum Package" for internet... I WAS getting 30Mbps/5Mbps speeds and paying $34.99/month. With this new Spectrum Package, I'm now getting 100Mbps/10Mbps speeds for $64.99/month!!! So triple+ on the speeds for just under double the price!! NOW... I played with these new speeds... and STILL got the issue!!! :wallbash: So I looked deeper into my modem and wireless router... it seems I'm having issues there. I looked into my modems logs and see "No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out - Loss of Sync".... so, I have a tech coming from Wednesday to see WTF is going in!!!! :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash:
