Installing maps into cod 4 files

Hi all I am an idiot and I need your help. 

Thanks to @Sitting-Duc I now have every map and mod stored on my pc . How and where do I put them back into the cod 4 files. Do I just drag and drop each folder of the map I need  or do I open up each individual map folder and drag the contents. I know I am an idiot but its years since I have had to do this and I have completely forgotten how to do it

@YACCster That is the problem . Before in the previous install I used to have the same folder for Maps but this time even though I have installed it from the same disc no folder. Now i thought it might be a bad install so I deleted the cod 4 and re installed but still no folder. Hence the reason I am scratching my Head

The usermaps folder is not created automatically when you install the game.  You either create the folder manually or join the game and the game will create the folder when you download a custom map.

did you try running the game yet without the maps added? Maybe it creates it on startup or when you DL your 1st map?

the usermap folder in windows 10 is not in the x86 directory   it is in your profile name apdata wich is a hidden folder  too look for it type in finder usermaps and let it search for it.  then copy all maps in it.

example below here is where mine is  in the modwarefare map there is your profile and usermaps folder   Gr Dessy

C:\Users\yourprofilename\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare
