House shook twice - I live in the very Northern end of NJ - 2 miles from the Rockland County NY border - not near the epicenter - no problems from it. Until I heard about it on the news I thought @BUDMAN caused it - you know how he gets when he opens the fridge and sees nothing but Coors Light Timmah!, baldie, BUDMAN and 2 others 5 Awards

I was alarmed for a couple seconds upon waking because I didn't know what the fuck's going on, having never-before experienced a quake, nor expecting the possibility. Then I thought it was a fun, new experience, mildly shaking around with everything else for 20 seconds. I then read about this New Madrid fault having the potential to unleash a catastrophic level quake some day. Glad I don't live in an area with tall buildings. ...them poor bastards in Taiwan, having to be rescued from some high rises tilted at 45°... Edited April 6, 2024 by Timmah! TBB and baldie 2 Awards
