Always tossed batteries into my boats based on CCA. Put batteries in forklifts according to Amp hours. Duh, when I tried matching up a couple batteries to run a redi-line generator it dawned on me cold cranking amps don't mean a damned thing to a deep cycle battery. Reserve capacity (minutes of draw @ 25amp) will tell you a lot more about what a battery can provide over time, along with Ah (amount of hours a battery can provide a 1 amp draw). Was charging some deep cycles I had laying around, that had run trolling motors well (in series, as well as by themselves) and I noticed one battery was pulling a lot of amperage off the charger. Exide 1000cca, but only has 115 minutes of reserve. Damn, that thing won't provide enough wattage to run a Redi for an hour. A 690cca w/101 AH has double the capacity. Live & learn, that's why I'm an idiot.

I like Veoz! So in defense of V here are my thoughts 1. He uses a pistol and knife. If you can't kill him learn how to aim. 2. He is a team player. He gives info and does not lie in wait and uses his team as bait for a higher kill count. 3. He averages out in middle of team points at end of game. 4. People don't complain when he's on their side. 5. He's a nice guy. Take time and talk to him instead of trying to convince other players that he's hacking. 6. If we are to ban good players then let's start with Sally and her damn P90, Ice and his Scorpion and blade, Rat and his well placed clay-mores, Hog and his tube class, KillBill and his suicide RPG, etc.... 7. Point is everyone wants to be the hunter and not the prey. We allow spectating so learn how other player play and become better. 8. Let's have fun

These kind of posts always stroke me kind of the wrong way. Its a 15 year old game, so what do you expect....that people didnt get good in all those years? Some players still suck after all those years, but a lot get better and better. With a game being so old, it is remarkable and great that XI still has servers that often fill up and we can all still enjoy the game. If we start refusing people that are too good at this game would be suicide for the servers. Looks like this Veoz guy got observerd a lot by admins and doesn't cheat in any way so yea....he is beating your ass. Arm up, get some noobtubes thingies, camp like a sour pussy (hate that), or just accept the fact that he is top notch. In the FT servers we have a fairly amount of players that are really good at this game. Nearly everyone excepts the fact that their ass gets kicked by them. Except @HotRod55, he is still crying but the pour soul tries. @Dukoo Woomp, there it is Kontelikker!

Two Admin are on the server every day. Veoz is a good player. The reason he only uses a knife and pistol is because we had a chat with and asked him to chill out a bit. There is a general problem that occurs with good players, they think everyone who kills them are somehow cheating (yes Repo, I know you didn't say this). Many good players do. I appreciate you bringing this to the forums because texting while gaming won't solve anything. Sally and I try to keep the server playable for everyone. We have tried to get other really good players to leave the server to no avail. What do you suggest? Ban him for being too good? I know I am about 50/50 with him. Adapt improvise overcome.

for me the fun is a bit off too, kniving ok, but don't make sport of it,i think there is a problem, there are several players who don't like this either,if this person comes in i'll go out, so admin, do something with it. let's keep it fun.

now we can only put feathers in his ass how good he is but apparently people don't understand the problem he's a good player that's for sure but if i shoot a full magazine at him as he comes at me nothing happens , but then get stabbed, this happens several times, not only with me, I myself was an admin at my clan years ago, also experienced things like this, sometimes you have to do things that are not fun, the interest of the clan comes first, if this person focuses more on the team game, and doesn't think about his own, we get a little further. look kniven, we all do it once, but don't make it a sport, respect your players, also your opponent.

Dem kann ich so nicht ganz zustimmen. Repo ist nicht der Einzige der das dachte. Schon letztes Jahr habe ich Videoaufnahmen an einen Admin geschickt, weil mehrer den Verdacht geäußert hatten. Und ich habe in letzter Zeit nur gehört, das es keinen spaß mehr macht (zu spielen). I can't quite agree with that. Repo isn't the only one who thought so. Last year I sent video recordings to an admin because several people had expressed their suspicion. And all I've heard lately is that it's not fun (to play) anymore.

You can see them in Win 10 and 11 as well. 1 by using PowerShell (Run as administrator) put in Get-CimInstance Win32_WinSat Another way is to use Command (Run as Administrator) type in winsat formal Wait for the process to complete. When it finishes, you can find the XML file in C:\Windows\Performance\WinSAT\DataStore. Look for a set of files containing the date you are running the test on. Open the XML file that looks like "[date of test] Formal.Assessment (Recent).WinSAT.xml". When prompted, select your internet browser to view the XML file. Your browser will make the XML data readable. The Windows Experience Index is close to the top of the file. There is another way using Windows built in Performance Monitor but it's a pain in th ass to navigate to. Easiest way is to use PowerShell. WinSPRlevel is your Estimated Overall Rating. Here is mine. Note I have the information gathering and telemetrics disabled on my PC. Last scan was from 2 years ago and I have a much better GPU now. Things I have learned (often the hard way) about batteries in recent years Lithium batteries are killed by the cold, don't buy for your vehicles if you live in cold climates A good make lead acid battery should last 8-10 years, gel batteries only last 2-3 years in normal use Batteries that need to be constantly recharged (deep cycle) again only last 2-3 years in normal use, there is a limit to the amount of recharges they will take. I am currently experimenting with carbon gel batteries (not cheap) more power, more charges, and I hope for at least 5 years. Batteries are damaged if constantly run down to less than 50% before recharging ( electric cars ???) lead acid sulphate and deep cycle lose charging capacity. Deep cycle do not achieve full capacity until after a few charges. Gel are better for most purposes than AGM I have now installed voltmeters (rather than ammeters) on electric battery machine 'draws' as this gives the best indication on when you are running into trouble, provided you research your type of battery. Batteries are a complex subject, do your research before buying, your average car battery is not good for some purposes. MAKE SURE YOUR CHARGER IS SUITABLE FOR THE TYPE OF BATTERY BEING CHARGED - otherwise you'll kill them Lithium batteries once fully discharged cannot be recovered (at least with present tech), they need a special charger too. Lead acid (and to some degree AGM/Gel) if fully discharged and sulphated it may be possible with a smart charger to recover, but their life will suffer compared to a well maintained battery. If you don't use batteries regularly (motorcycles, jet skis etc) invest in a smart charger that will maintain the battery, especially in cold climates. Cold is the enemy of every battery currently in normal use.

hi, i understand, but you cant ask a player to chill out a bit. he is a player who plays his own game. And that's not how we play, he just has good skills and we just want to have fun. it's the admin's decision, and we just have to deal with it. But if veoz comes in and 4 or 5 players are leaving just because of him, then I think it's not a good thing to let him stay in the server, but again it's your decision. Remember when my son played here, was just too good, a pro, many player complained about him, that he hacked. we talked about it with the admins and decided not to allow it in this server anymore. good decision. my son was not happy, but we do it for the other players to have fun. we just have to deal with it than , what i understand
