Its a 15 year old game, and you're worried about 125 or 140+ fps?

I went down with the scooter yesterday. Visited hospital and helped my injured elbow. Can't play games for a while

I always liked XP, was an excellent OS. I currently run Windows 11 Pro 21H2 without issue and gotta say that I do like it.

Bottom line is that we don't allow an fps of 333 on our servers. It's been that rule for many years. Our servers are for fun, not competition, and we don't want areas exploited on maps that most people can't or won't go to. If you can only get to an area with a strafe jump and/or an fps of 333, than it's generally not a spot that's allowed.

Update. Been to the hospital for a check-up. They removed the pressure bandage. Arm is badly bruised. Now that the pressure bandage has been removed, I have a bit more play in my arm. So can also do some gaming

Think it's unfair to call it a cheat. Different fps levels alter the game mechanics in different ways. 125/250 have benefits/disadvantages over 333. I was playing a bunch in a deathrun server earlier in the year, and they'll toggle between all three to maximize the advantages of each. 125 for example will have benefits over the default 85. Is it fair to call that a cheat? Ultimately I think it boils down to what the admins/owner of a server allow/disallow. Expecting everyone to think 333 is disallowed because of the last line is dubious, especially when other servers/gametypes allow or even encourage it. It should be clearly stated as a rule.

We had an Arma server but I don't think we ever had a DayZ server. If we had a DayZ Standalone PVE NoKOS server with traders and Hi Loot I would definitely play on it.
