Quick update: We created AI bots to stress the server in every which way. It has worked very well and the server was able to handle just about any kind of load we threw at it for days on end. Right now I have put on brand new "smart" bots. These learn from human players, and as the rounds go they become "smarter", more aggressive. They use killstreaks, drive RCXDs, use the predator, AGM, AC130. They save these learnings to memory and every time they play the same map they get better. The bots do disconnect when a real person joins. The mod on this server has been optimized to handle 34 concurrent players. Once we have a better understanding of what our community likes we will either reduce the number of place holder bots or completely remove them. That one is up to you guys. Right now we have set this up as a redirect server for overflow from the regular COD4 server. We do get random new players on the server every day. Click here XI MW2 Ftag CoD4x to see the server on Game Tracker. Feel free to jump on, pawn the bots, test your killstreaks and share your experience here on this thread.3 points

Mrs. Smeggie and I are loading up Cool Change and are headed to Washington D.C. for the Independence Day festivities going on there. We'll have a flotilla of 8 or 9 other boats from our dock. Us and another million IDIOTS sweltering in this miserable heat for what should be a memorable trip. Hopefully in a good way! Be safe all and remember why this country is so damn awesome.... Until Monday, peace out!2 points

Now for those of you who actually prefer beer to froth the above two are prime examples of why you should avoid the Netherlands. The bartender half fills the glass with beer and half with froth, then proudly charges you for a full glass of beer. The bartender then looks pissed off when you ask him to fill it up, the locals sit proudly looking at the froth and convince themselves it's a bargain. It takes the average local twice as many beers to get pissed as the average Brit at that rate, and of course costs twice as much money. It is so cold you couldn't taste it if it was made of garlic and there's nothing in it to stop you seeing right through it. Do they realise they're being conned, of course not they are idiots? In the UK Ireland and Germany we brew real beers, fill the glasses to the top and drink them chilled so you can taste the garlic, choose your drinking country carefully.2 points

For anyone interested, here is a photo dump from our trip to DC on Cool Change this past weekend. It was hotter than hell and one of the Air conditioners on the boat went on the fritz and couldn't get the generator to crank yesterday for our trip home...but it was a great weekend. Oh the sound of freedom! Enjoy! https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjCYncd2 points

Reminds me of the old joke Man goes to the doctors, says doctor my sex life is rubbish, no libido, just not touching the sides, as limp as a wet towel. What do you drink he says, Heineken I replied, oh that's useless he said you need to drink Guinness makes things big and strong, Heineken shrinks and shrivels things. A couple of weeks later they pass in the street, how's the sex life asks the doctor, you still drinking the Guinness?? No doctor, I've got the wife on Heineken1 point -

My favorites are two kinds of 'special' beers, Belgian, Triple Karmeliet and Kwak. The last one comes with a very interesting glas construction too. It was used like this for coachmen, because it wouldn't spill as easily when driving. I've been in a place where you had to give them one of your shoes, so you wouldn't steal the glass and you would get your shoe back when you returned the glass. Those two I can highly recommend if you on the other side of the pond get the chance at one point. Otherwise, I agree with Basil that white beers (witbier) is nice. A summer beer that tastes a little fresher than normal pilsener1 point -

1. Fix the Installation Path The CoD2 Compile Tools require an exact directory path to function properly. If you installed the game to a custom folder, the tools won't know where to look. Go to your Call of Duty 2 installation folder (e.g., C:\Program Files (x86)\Activision\Call of Duty 2). Open the bin folder. Locate CoD2CompileTools.exe and double-click it. If a browse window appears, click Browse and select your main Call of Duty 2 directory. Once saved, you should see the map lists populate under the "All Maps" tab. 2. Run as Administrator Windows security settings often prevent old tools from modifying or creating files. Right-click CoD2CompileTools.exe. Select Properties > Compatibility. Check the box for Run this program as an administrator.Hit Apply and OK. 3. Change Compatibility Mode Because Call of Duty 2 is an older title, running the tools in an older Windows environment helps bypass crashes. In the same Compatibility tab, check the box to Run this program in compatibility mode for:. Select Windows XP (Service Pack 2) or Windows 7 from the drop-down menu.Click Apply and OK. 4. Install Legacy DirectX and Visual C++Mod tools rely on older system libraries that modern versions of Windows do not install by default. Hope this helps my friend https://www.google.com/search?q=can't+open+the+compile+tools+for+call+of+duty+2&rlz=1C1CHBD_enUS900US900&oq=can't+open+the+compile+tools+for+call+of+duty+2&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUyBggAEEUYOTIJCAEQIRgKGKABMgkIAhAhGAoYoAEyCQgDECEYChigATIJCAQQIRgKGKABMgkIBRAhGAoYoAEyBwgGECEYqwIyBwgHECEYqwIyBwgIECEYjwIyBwgJECEYjwLSAQkxNDMwM2owajeoAgiwAgHxBfNDrKnehhzg&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#fpstate=ive&vld=cid:85413de6,vid:W8Xbx0dgok4,st:2971 point

Only way Budweiser is palatable is when it's ice cold so you don't taste much of anything. A nice Weihenstephaner is wonderfully flavorful & can be enjoyed at room temperature. Budweiser is the McDonald's of beer, made to be so plain that it's generic banality appeals to the largest number by not providing any flavor.1 point -

as one who never really liked beer... until I had this..... Blue Moon Belgian White is most popular among Millennials, casual drinkers, and "gateway" craft beer enthusiasts. Often served with an orange wedge to highlight its citrus and coriander profile, it appeals to those seeking an approachable, smooth, and easy-drinking beer away from standard light lagers. [1, 2, 3, 4] A broad look at its consumer base reveals distinct groups that enjoy it: Entry-Level Craft Drinkers: It is widely recognized as a "gateway" beer. People new to the craft beer scene often gravitate toward Blue Moon for its sweet, citrusy flavor profile rather than more aggressive, bitter IPAs. [1, 2, 3] Millennials: Many Millennials credit it as one of the very first craft-style beers they sipped and enjoyed in their early 20s. [1, 2] Casual Social Drinkers: Because it is highly drinkable and widely available on draft, it remains a top choice for people at bars, restaurants, and ballparks who want a refreshing drink without intensely complex flavors. THEN discovered more similar ... Allagash White is a flagship Belgian-style wheat beer (witbier) with a 5.2% ABV. Brewed in Portland, Maine since 1995, it features a hazy golden appearance and is spiced with a signature blend of coriander, Curaçao orange peel, and a secret spice. [1, 2, 3] Key Details Style: Witbier (Belgian-Style Wheat) Flavor Profile: Notes of orange citrus, coriander, bready wheat, and a slightly spicy, dry finish Ingredients: Pilsner malt, raw wheat, malted wheat, oats, Nugget/Crystal/Czech Saaz hops, and their house yeast But wait... there is more... A coriander orange wit beer is a traditional Belgian-style wheat ale (witbier). It is known for its hazy, straw-like color, a creamy white head, and a highly refreshing, citrus-forward flavor profile. The spices give it a crisp, slightly sweet, and zesty finish. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5] The classic ingredients that give this beer its signature taste include: Unmalted Wheat and Barley: Gives the brew its pale, cloudy appearance and light, crisp body. Sweet or Bitter Orange Peel: Traditionally added near the end of the boil to provide sunny, vibrant citrus notes. Coriander: Ground coriander seeds are used to bring out a slightly spicy, herbaceous, and floral aroma that perfectly balances the citrus. While it is an ancient style originating from the Belgian village of Hoegaarden, many craft breweries offer their own takes on this style, often featuring local ingredients like orange blossom honey or fresh zest.1 point -
