Hi Idiots, A couple people asked me to post pics of my parrot JP, I've had him for 39 years now , Everytime I play he gets very vocal and can be heard when I key my mic . Yes that's a very hot pepper he's eating and he's taking a bath in his water bowl. His breed is a Double yellow head amazon . When I got him at 5 weeks old he was just a ball of skin and pin feathers and I could not think of a good name for him so I call him JP which stands for Just Parrot or on his grumpy days Just prick . Last 3 weeks been a blast for me. Really enjoyed playing through the day between errands while on leave back in the UK. Thanks to the morning crowd … Totty, Snuller, Raven etc. Night time is great too as our American friends log in. Big shout out to our admins for dealing with the asshole hacker and the excellent communications back to players to keep us informed. Be nice to each other and see you next trip back. One final thanks to those admins stepping down. It wouldn’t work without the time you guys put in.

Man its been a while. Just wanted to pop in and wave hello, some will remember me from Project M@yhem way back in the day. I think we ran from 09-15ish, I was one of the founders and in the end the closer of the group. I see a few names I recognize already in this group, I actually met Larsin once . I was just talking with a old clan member who reloaded COD 4 this week out of the blue and that got me thinking about maybe playing bit. After spending years running servers and a website for us you would think it would all come back on how to play and load stuff etc., it did not, as I could not up until a couple hours ago even get into a server through steam, a quick exe change and not go through steam fixed that. I know Xfire ( dating myself now ) and HLSW are no longer in use or gone, had to google how to manually enter a server number, just sad lol. I enjoy COD2 ,4 ,WAW, BF3 and BF4 mostly SP, in fact my last venture into MP was back in 2018 maybe. As i am mostly into aviation more now and heavy flight sim , the run and gun in me has long since gone but why not try it out again I thought. Is there a Program like Xfire to jump in your list of servers or do i just do it manually? I will figure out my Mic set up and all that as time goes on to. Thanks Chris

This map hadn’t come around again when I’ve been playing.. I did receive a private message the next day , ‘the server is messed up again’ ,however they didn’t say what the issue was or the map. No problem being away, enjoy your travels … Thanks E

Wow, around 20 years ago my second wife and I use to have an African Grey and he was great until my ex wife started working and all went down hill then. The Vet said that he was to attached to my wife and he started pulling hi feathers out and there was nothing we could do about. It was heart braking. One morning we found him dead in his cage. He could leave the cage whenever he wanted and got very well with our two dogs at the time but sadly this wasn't enough. So, well done to you. 39 years is a long time. Respect!!

Great shot. My dad bought a pool table back around 1971 when I was around 9. Its a Cue Master 3/4" slate pool table and its still at my parents house. Sad it doesn't get used anymore. We spent hours playing pool. And as a teenager we hosted many "pool tournaments". Well you might as well call them "parties" !!! Lots of booze, pool and quarters being played !!!! Naturally when our parents were away overnight.

My graphics card was crashing (3070ti) I tried everything I could think of without sucsess. I then did quite a bit of googling and found that PSU connections had a tendency of breaking down with these cards, I found one of my modular connections had got hot and spread out. It was on the PSU side, So I cleaned and tightened up the connections and not had an issue since. So I would definitly advise checking all power connections

Appears to be an issue with the map mp_v2 . Everyone got kicked with error 'Exceeded limit of 400 fx assets' ... Thank you @skuzapo @Merlin007
