I use Bench 32 for testing drives. mine probably takes about 6 seconds to load from the MOBO screen, but I am also running a stripped down version of WIN7 and running at 4.5Ghz and hooked up to 6gig SATA. I have yet to see the full windows flag during startup. If you want a fast "storage" drive. I have a WD Caviar Black FAEX and it is super fast for a platter drive.

It's the highest scoring device on Windows Experience Index. The Falcon is going back into my netbook. If you have a laptop and want to extend battery life and improve performance, slap an SSD into that bad boy. YOu will not be disappointed. Ever.

Got the switch done. And ironically, the SSD is the highest rated device in Windows Experience Index in both systems.

This is my second SSD drive the old one I sold was an Intel 320 series 120gb Sata 2.The sata 3 SSDs are quite a bit faster than the Sata 2s. I use Intels SSD utility to maintain the SSD.It seems to work really good. Awards
