I'm running dual GeForce GTX 460s and thought MW3 was spectacular at 1920x1200. Then saw post on running at native resolution by checking advanced graphics settings. Indeed, I was set for "high." Changed to native and am blown away. If you GPU can handle it, you'll like it.

In an effort to keep the game running, I've dialed the resolution way back down to 1024x768 yet the game looks no different to me.  Why would that be?  What does "native" mean??

I think native is the max resolution the your monitor can handle but anyone please correct me if I am wrong.

I don't know what it means other than "PURDY"!!!! But I got an old horse still kicking that amazingly can handle it decently.

Core 2 Quad 2.4Ghz, 4 Gig ram, and 512Mb 8600GT

I got most stuff on lower settings, but went ahead and turned on "Native", and I still get 55 to 60 FPS and up with a beautiful picture, where as with it only on High instead of native I could get 70 to 90 FPS, but the picture was grainy and ugly.

Running the game on a 580GTX, which should handle it all, the native option gets me a smoother and nicer image....
