We tried a half a dozen servers and they all crashed till we found a good one and it crashed after 5 minutes on him. Still a good game though IMO. Simple logic: able to play before the patch; unable to play after the patch = patch problem. And, from what one reads online (and here now), I am far from a single sufferer. Have a look at the (173 pages!) of feedback on the in-game forum and you'll get a taste of the widespread nature of the problems. We're all suffering pretty much the same thing (some people are worse off than us!) and users of nVidia and Radeon cards are represented so it isn't a hardware/driver incompatibility.
