I have never build my own pc yet... So I will be takingthe case I have and PRAYING everything goes in without a hitch! I wish I could find a Case Building Calculator that I could put all this info into and see if its going to work!! LOL.. But this will be a huge update for me... My pc now is from 2006 and just a dual core... This new one will be ALOT better!! Upgrading quite a bit from 8800 gts 512 to this new card... And from old Asus M2n4 mobo to this new FX supported Bulldozer CPU technology... 8 gigs of ram... WISH ME LUCK!!! Im sure I will have some questions for you all so stay tuned!! MUAHAHAHA... The great thing about all this... 12 month same as cash credit..!! LOL... I was instantly approved for 400.00 line of credit.. And i spent 399.58.... AHAHHAHAAH..... There's nothing as much fun as a home build but, especially if the main board documentation is lacking, it become a bit of an adventure sometimes... Watch the timings - don't do an unintentional overclock! I've actually fared better with "Frankensteins" - refurbs I have bought and upgraded or old shop-bought machines I have ripped the guts out of. If you have a bunch of brand new components, you need a "nurse" standing at the side to mop the brow as you operate! Can't beat the "Eureka" moment when the new beast springs into life for the first time, though! What a geek rush! Awards
