Just that there is code that *could* be used - it's not as if they are back doors or anything just some of their functions have been discovered. Without looking at the actual code it can't be determined what these utilities are for. It could be that the 'packet sniffer' is used for finding other Apple devices or media services. It could be that they are aware of exploits and have this service in place to detect them and prevent them. Or even to prevent certain information from leaving the device. Most of that article is wild speculation with the actual person bringing out the information trying to get it across to the reporter that he's not interpreting what he is saying correctly.
