It must service two very high speed gaming pcs and must handle all the bitching and yelling at the lag that we like to blame on the router! I do want to upgrade and as long as it is reasonable I just may do it! Please give me where you find it such as Newegg or Tiger direct and the link to it so I san make me small lil brain up quickly!

@@BigPapaDean - This is my router:  http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FB45SI4/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B00FB45SI4&linkCode=as2&tag=girlsrockradi-20&linkId=RLLG2CSKGI7JJ7OP  (careful - there are 3 routers there on that page; mine's the 66U for $159.99.  There are selection buttons for the models under the main description.)

Love it.  There are a couple of models above it, but this is a great router at a solid price point.  2.4 and 5GHz wireless bands simultaneously.  My smartphone loves the 5GHz band, and my older laptop and other stuff that's not 802.11n (5GHz) compatible works just great on the 2.4GHz band.

I love Buffalo routers... has a linux ROM and TONES of features.

For a business I am now a fan of UniFi. I can have 100 access points all managed by one console. Bad ass.... saves tones of time.

I bought this router for less than $60 and it is awesome. Not sure you need to spend a lot of money these days to get a good one. Check the specs

Good luck

Joe
