I have tried googling and trying everything but with no luck. Using headset? Which one? Phone jack, usb, wireless.? I have this problem with my sound and mic...I usually exit game, stop corsair sound program and restart it, reconnect headset, start game and it's working again. Qtips do a decent job too, wet them in hot water and then slowly glide back and forth. On another note, make sure your COD4 sound is not disabled or turned down in Windows Mixer.
