I have my old monitor and wonder if it is worth installing.  Issue is that the old one does not have HDMI.

If it is worth it, how do I install it?

Thanks for any suggestions

I have a 2nd one (without HDMI) installed. I use it for Procon and Teamspeak. Its very handy for admin duties. You see whats going on in Procon and TS while playing the game and even better, when i`m doing something alse then playing, like working or so. I have both programs open on my 2nd screen, next to each other.

Even without procon a 2nd monitor is useful to see who is talking in teamspeak, if you don't recognize the voice, or who just came in or left.

I run 3 monitors...it's nice to play on one, and as Lazy Cat mentioned...keep TS3 open on another and for you being a admin to keep Procon open also.

As far as connections...your gaming monitor is the only one that matters. What kind of GPU(s) are you running? Also note a additional monitor might lower your framerate of your main monitor...what is your FPS now?

oh i forgot to mention when u play in some torn they make rules so u can only use 1 monitor m8 so be warned they reckon its like cheating having more than one monitor cause u get to see round corners more than u can with 1 monitor but that's on some tournament not all its the games that u get to win prize money £25000

Thanks a lot for the feedback.  I will be installing the second monitor.  Reasons mentioned about TS3 and Procon are the main reason.
