Hey Swiss, long time no see. Hope all is well and the past is where we learned to be who we are today. I bet only @Ruggerxi and and few others are still around to even remember who you were round here back in the beginning. You are one of the reasons I tried the XI server and I never left so maybe you should be apologizing for that fuck up right there. Our COD2 TDM server is still running a cool mod, not quite "the Extreme Mod" you used to play but it is a lot of fun. We are there every weekend from about 9am east coast time until about 1pm Sat and Sun and Holidays. You might see a Player or 2 that you remember and it would be a hoot. Good luck and see ya round

Swiss what year did you depart XI? It seems you left shortly after I joined in 2006 to 2007. Good to see your name. What have you been up to all these years? I think you came back several years ago for a bit if I'm not mistaking. 

Time flies but it seems like 2006 was a long ass time ago.

Well P-Man and others have been having some heart issues so now all the servers are fitted with defibulators and admins are now required to take a CPR course. Other than that he's doing good.

Life's roller coaster to be honest. lot of growing up and old..  I work as a mainframe engineer, have some  youngins , house, car , etc..   Went from Vodka to Whiskey.  Not sure why i posted just felt the need to correct my actions and more forward personally.  Hax always good to see you   I miss the good old days and do not miss @PHUCKITMANtrip wires!!!!  I joined the public discord, not sure if anyone uses it or still on vent or TS..   I will be around , My discord think2123

Growing up's not mandatory but getting old is. Congrats on the kids and stability in your life. Mainframe work sounds interesting. I've been around them like a Cray T3D at Exxon as a contractor long time ago. Only work I did on one was I helped a Prime mini breath very early in my career. The dumbass braindead civilians setup the CPU's module case over a stander raised floor plate and it would crash on heavy use from over heating. The spent months trying to figure it out. One day I was doing some cable work and seen the case next to it had the holes but the one that needed... aka the CPU case didn't. I let them know and the next time it crashed I swapped the panels around real fast solving the issue. Took these pictures with the first consumer digital cameral the Kodak DC10  or DC20... something like that.   
What all you doing with them Swiss? Database stuff? What does one do in the Mainframe world today? Was the AS400 as kind of Mainframe?  


I gave up drinking so I just smoke my way though things today. Boy do I have some vodka stories if anyone wants to trade.  I never used it long term only for a party. I couldn't, I'd be dead or locked up. As for I quitting the last beer binge I did just about a year ago I drank for I think 3 months not eating much during it and I quite cold turkey having had enough and I thought I was going to die. So I gave have it up. I have problem with moderation.... it doesn't exist. Good thing you can only smoke so much? Being sober life just sucks to the umpteenth degree and stress for no reason piles on on on.. the one smoke POOF them nonsense worries are gone. I was always a functional alcoholic now I'm a Sativa loving focused Pothead. 

As for you coming back or why you came back, you may not have received the response you were looking for Swiss.. but you got it off your chest and that at least will help take it off your mind. For some of us it was great to see you. Be cool if you took @Totty up on his offer.

I am currently an operator , monitoring jobs. I'm learning the DBA side but not sure if i want to hang in , or go into infrastructure systems. There's a cross roads ahead no doubt but I will see what it holds. I never expect anything ( as life as taught me ) and put out what was on my mind and i felt was right. but it's always good catching up with people, I feel that we can all learn from each other and work as a team to make it life no matter how far away or what struggles..  I do like the pics!!  I'm hybrid between the home and a datacenter traveling back and forth which is at times nice to travel and get out.

I do appreciate everyone and it's fantastic to see the originals and the new ones.
