I want to say thanks to everyone for reducing the hacking accusations and actually taking video and getting these hackers banned. 3 players have been banned already because they took video and sent it in to an admin or posted to the forums. Thank you again and please do not accuse people of hacking in the servers, take video and send it in and they will be banned if they are hacking.

Step one I guess is get more people in XI to play MWIII (I assume most everyone is playing MWIII now and not MWII). It's a great game - hardcore TDM is fast and furious - very much an XI "run and gun" style of game. If we had enough clan members who played, we could setup our own private 6v6 games, which would be awesome.

Okay. me again, trying to contribute a small amount via PayPal but ain't working again: Last time I was advised to pay via PayPal using alternative means i.e. private transfer but to transfer $20, Paypal charged me about $25 as a transaction fee. Not fair and won't do it again. Do we have some other way to get it done? Like Western Union or something? Cheers!

The servers have been getting very busy lately which is a good thing, but with that also comes more whining and complaining and more hacking accusations. The hacking accusations have gotten so bad lately that we have to start taking action against the repeat accusers. These people will get a warning to start and then temp bans will start. If that doesn't work then you will be banned from the server. It's very easy to get proof, go to spectate, record the player. However you want to do it, but the most easy way to do it is this Bring down your console and type: /record (demo's will be named demo00000.dm_1, demo000001.dm_1 etc etc.) To stop the record, type: /stoprecord Get the demo file and send it to an admin, they look at it and see the hacking being done and they ban the player. It's so easy to do, instead of going in game everyday and accusing the same players everyday and whine they're not banned yet, just get the video and they're banned. Very very simple. So instead of possibly getting banned from the greatest servers on the planet, just get the video. If you spectate the person and can't see their hacking then you should go into the server after and say I spectated them and they are not hacking.

So I use a power line adapter from my server to my roku. Not so much for movies wifi works fine for that but for OTA signal. I networked my antena so my local channels are available anywhere I am logged on. That takes some bandwidht. Now I also use a lot of smart plugs. I've always had an issue with the powerline adapters dropping its bandwidth to almost nil. I lucked out last week and was looking at them when my better half asked google to turn on the night lights. Google lite up our house and bamm I got a red light on the powerline adapters. Nothing but luck because I had no idea why it keept losing signal. So a bit of reading and my conclusionis the smart plugs are poluting the electric curent causing the drop in signal. So the question is how to I add a filter to this problem. A house filter is over a $1000 and not going to happen. Individual plug filters as well will run up a big bill I have over 30 smart plugs. I was trying to figure out if a ferret line filter would work on the plug I'm using the powerline adapter on. Add it before the plug. Will that screw up teh signal as well ?? I ask because its not stopping the incoming noise but blocking it from the power line adapter. I hope this makes some sence to somebody. Its an interesting problem though. And yes for now if I want to watch OTA signal I turn off teh plugs but thats not a real fix is it Thanks for any idea and thoughts

Hi guys, so apart from getting shot to pieces everyday which I have to admit is my favourite time of day, I have another hobby , metal detecting, over this year I've found some lovely old stuff, but yesterday I found a once in a lifetime find, an early bronze age axe head, it's over 4000 years old as you can imagine I am made up and just wanted to share it with you guy's.

Wonder how many skulls that thing has caved in. That's an incredible find - really cool. When I saw a thread called "Hobbies" I thought it would be a cool thread with people showing all the hobbies they have outside of playing really old games. But no, this is XI, so of course the thread has devolved into ownership rights/land rights/finger pointing crap. To that I say FUCK YOU and will now redirect to the thread I was hoping to find instead. ------------------------------------------ @cdsinuk - I follow this lady on social media (well I did back when I still did social media) who had a permit to do metal detection along the Thames - she found a lot of cool stuff as you can imagine. I was actually considering trying this hobby out - living where I live you can find some interesting things here and there from colonial days. But as for hobbies - well I have way too many already, and it looks like my wife and I are adding backpacking to the already long list this upcoming year. All of my hobbies are adjacent except one. Other than growing weed, all my other hobbies our outdoors pursuits. Like @Angus I like to go fast, but I prefer to do it on skis and mountain bikes. The mountain bike also ends up being a great tool for both scouting and actively hunting deer. My primary hobby, however, is fishing - mostly fly-fishing. I have two fishing kayaks - where I live these days isn't a great place for trout fishing (my preferred fish) so I spend more time fishing spinning rods these days, but the whole reason I started looking at getting into backpacking is so I can go to remote alpine ponds/lakes in the White and Green mountains this summer and fly fish.

I use a Powerline Adapter as well. Mine goes Orbi Router -> Powerline Adapter -> Powerline Adapter -> TV. The TV in the family room is connected to it. I have two smart plugs on the same circuit as the Powerline Adapter the TV is using - both Sonoff smart plugs running floor lamps. In my office where the cable modem is I don't have any smart plugs on that circuit. To my knowledge I haven't had any issues with this setup.
