hi all I've been in communication with his friend flowerpower by email and I'm hoping his son will be in touch so i can get some personal info about his life. although he was not a member he played on the server for several years, he was a lovely person, full of humour and loved to chat about life. he will be sadly missed by us all, taken to young. rest easy Tang x8 points

It's funny you say this. I was stoked when I went from a 200mb connection to a 1GIG connection. I thought my ping would go down and my game play would get better. Well my ping didn't change, and now I just suck a lot quicker.3 points

I feel for ya. Growing up in Pensacola I've had my share of storms, but nothing like this massive wide area of destruction. Just canceled all of my 20 day trip to the Smoky Mountain area, was start on the 16th, but I would just get in the way of the clean up crews.1 point

Just heard that the factory where my uncle works as a security guard has just caught fire. We were a bit worried as the poor bugger has two wooden legs. Well we've just received a phone call to say that through the hard work and bravery of the fire service , the factory was saved. I tried to turn on the low input lag on my monitor and first time loading the game it froze up on opening screen. I had to exit through task manager and turned it back off and the game loaded correctly. Any ideas on what happened there?1 point

@Sharpe too. Thanks guys. Fixed the 165Hz in windows like you suggested. I get this Performance Warning off and on. Seems random. That's good, though, cuz now my shit play still has an excuse . . .

If you right click on the desktop, goto display settings, and then advanced settings you should be able to crank it to 165 there.1 point

This means the monitor is currently only running 60hz, and not 165hz. Yes, you'll need to change some settings in windows.1 point

lol, my first few games were very..akward. Like fuck me, I'm playing worse! I'm not sure what we are allowed on the server but, I keep my frames locked at 150 in game, any higher and I get the running in water/slow mo effect, if I run with no fps cap, I get some really strange glitches with chat and menu selection. I'd also like to know what we are looking at on this test page.
