As you all know Dad passed away September 30/2023. Mom has been in a nursing home since August 2023. Dad and her were supposed to meet there but it was not to be. On March 05/2023 Mom was rushed by ambulance to Emergency care. She was suffering from pneumonia, a UT infection and poor circulation in her legs. Mom passed away at 1:00 this morning. Dad at 91 and mom 88 after 69 years of marriage they are together again. Their pain and suffering in now over. Although sad our family is so happy they are finally free. Cheers and Love to All. That's a great story LilMord, hold on to it because I can tell you from experience you'll remember these days for the rest of your life. You speak about how you've have come out of your shell playing COD and interacting with other members. I have a similar story as well but in a different time. My spelling was so bad I couldn't spell to save my life in high school. The more I thought about a word the more I miss spelled it. Being super dyslexic and a bit stupid mixed I was able to make sense but it was not pretty at all for any Grammar Nazi. Anyway I was super shy about it and I'd call into BBS's at the time in the Mid 80's 15-19 years and I would explain to the Forum, "I can't spell but I have some questions I'd like to ask" and they were all so welcoming, understating and super helpful. They were my source for information I was looking for. It literally brought me out of my shell making me into the menace to forums I am today. Good stuff, cool to hear a story like yours. You'll be a different thinking person in 10 years and even more differently in thinking in 20 years, but deep down you'll still be that guy at age 15-16 who just thinks differently. It stays with you for the rest of your life. Good luck in life.
