This happens on every instance when I play, always during a map change - I may go 2 or 3 maps, or 5 or 6. Half the time, it's a black screen requiring launching Task Manager to clear, or a hard reboot. I've seen various suggested solutions. Is there one that works every time? Awards

Mine does it every few hours, or on a map change sometimes. Then again there does not seem to be any reason for it to do it. Just when ever. Welcome to COD5. You should have been on the COD5 server in the early days. One error after another. It is way better than it used to be. Awards

"Unhandled Exception Problems are caused by misconfigured system files. So, from my experience, If you got Unhandled Exception Problems then there is a 96% chance that your computer has registry problems." Scott Chan, Micro Soft Certified Professional. I used to have this problem but I regularly use a program called CCleaner http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner Once you install it look on the left margin for Cleaner. Click Anaylize on the bottom, wait til it is done, then click Run Cleaner ... This is very important!!!! On the left again the next icon down is Registry, click that, then click Scan for issues... This program is Free and does a nice job of cleaning up after all your nasty lil downloads...LoL I also use a program called Tune up Utilities http://www.tune-up.com/download/. I started with the free download but soon paid for the full version. Now the only time I see that pesky exception message is when I do not regularly clean my registry and run the one step maintenance on Utilities. Hope this helps Harry. Make a mental note of how many MBs of crap CCleaner takes off your system and how many registry errors it finds.....

Same issue here, mainly between maps but sometimes in the middle of a round (which is really frustrating and usually when I'm doing good LOL). Frustrating part is like Harry says sometimes go for several rounds, then seems like every one - or between every one. I thought it was related to Xfire, but even with it off it happens. A couple people thought it is sound related, but no explanation. Hope the cleaners can fix it...thanks. Awards
