I have WIn7 installed but still on my second Vista64 as Win7 = Vista part II.
 Awards

I setup Win7 for a few folks and love it as well. Have not gamed in it but it smooth and responsive. 32bit is not as fast but not bad either... 64 the way to go. If you go from XP direct to 7, it will be a clean install anyway. 7 gives you the option to load the 64 bit, even on a 32 bit system with no conflicts. Forgive me if I'm wrong but that was never possible before. You had to have 64 bit processor to load a 64 bit system You can do a clean install from an upgrade package also. Make sure you boot from the DVD and a few screens in it will ask you whether you want to upgrade your existing or install a clean one. Obviously the upgrade will keep everything and takes forever. Thee clean install wipes everything (Even gives you a format disk option to get rid of those stupid manufacturers partitions)
 Awards

I build and repair computers for a living and if there is something I am missing let me know Plz.
 Awards

All I know is that my machine is running the following processor: Intel Core2 Duo-E4400, which I thought was 32 bit but I installed 64 bit 7 Ultimate with no issue. Perhaps my proc. supports 64 and I didnt know it If anyone can tell this 'puter noob I would appreciate it
 Awards
