It's now 2 games won by Boston and by your absence I can only conclude you have bailed off of the Vancouver bandwagon. I do have an offer for you. With the series tied a 2-2 Vancouver still has home ice advantage. I will wager you $25.00 that Boston will win the cup. So as not to be for anyone's personal gain, if the bet is accepted, that the loser will makes a immediate $25.00 donation to the XI servers. Fair enough? Bet needs to be accepted before game 5 Are you confident enough in Vancouver?

And if your memory or history books can take you back far enough the Canadian teams had a very unfair advantage in the draft with regard to player picks. I think they had some kind of protection from other teams getting some of the Canadian players. They had first choice regardless of their position in the league and locked up the better players. This disparity led to Canadian teams dominating the league. I should have done some research before bringing this up, maybe someone else remembers the details. Edit: http://proicehockey.about.com/od/hockeyfaqsandtrivia/f/canadiens.htm A distinct advantage when almost every player was Canadian, Sort of screwed stateside teams. Recently the US Dollar vs the Canadian Dollar gave stateside teams an advantage. That's now gone. Can't even call your dollar funny money anymore.

Montreal & Toronto did have exclusive rights to their respective area's, but so did he rest of the original 6. Unfortunately most of the great players came from Canadian cities. As for the praries, that was incorrect. It was open season for any team that could afford to recruit that far. As for the dollar advantage. The league compensated the Canadian teams so there was no advantage. The only advantage over 10 years ago was there was no salary cap and large markets like Detroit, New York and Toronto could spend as much as they wanted. The game is slot more competitive but the old dynasties of the Canadians, Oilers and Islanders are long gone now. Awards

The anouncers sayss ssscccuse me. The Boston fan says its 12 past LOUNGO I can now breath a whole bunch better. As a cauck fan I hate it when my team seems to go off into la la land like they tend to do. They have been known to go on 13 game losing streks for no reason drives me nuts. On the other hand I have to say Boston is truly beating my team up. Why is it not a penalty when Boston cross checks players 3 four times in a row ? They consantly smack bobby lou's stick wonder what would happen it that happened to Thomas ? Anyway I think Canucks in 7 now but I'm going to lose the rest of my hair watching this. Awards

He is a great goalie (good games and bad) and is a strong presence on the ice and that kind of presence helps hold a team together in events like this. Awards
