Ok I changed the prices a bit lower to make it a little easier // Shop costs

set shop_item1_costs 1000 // Restore Health

set shop_item2_costs 2000 // Restore Ammo

set shop_item5_costs 2500 // C4

set shop_defensive6_costs 45000 // Portal also I changed the difficulty from 4 to 3 ...don't want to make it too easy also when we get done with the scripts it will start out as a regular wave then special then regular and so on then probly add in stuff like (ELS) MAC 11 suggested also working on Claymore and Weapons lots to do but hopefully will be a fun zombie mod when we are all done with it ^_^

i think the zombies are way to hard to kill. even with two people in the game you can not last more than 3 to 5 mins in one map alone.

Thanks Widow, i knew it can't just be me, i am a fairly decent player (oh yes i am you gits) but i get massacred in seconds lol, because they are so hard to kill you just don't get enough time to get more ammo or cure the contagion, they are all over you and with no ammo you can't kill, of course we don't want it too easy but at the moment it is much too hard, it should start off fairly easy to let players get accustomed to it, then get progressively harder the further in you get, that's my opinion anyway :shok:

well said. casper and i played 6 or 7 maps last night. it took a total of 10 mins. not fun playing that way. just my opinion on it.

Are you guys spending your skill points? Im assuming not if your having this trouble. The zombies are easy enough, i even kill hell zombies in 3 bullets with the gun i spawn with. U have to play too get skillpoints thow, dont just play for 5 mins and expect to be amazing.

Should be a lot easier now, went from level 4 to level 2 dropped the prices for essentials to stay alive and went from set surv_zombies_perplayer 15 was 25

set surv_zombies_perwave 5 was 20...are the weapons still missing models ? I'll work on that some more today.

Chappie if you read the posts you will see we ain't getting enough kills to get many skill points at all, you don't tend to get many when you are dying all the time, the last mod we had was nowhere near as hard as this and i had most of my classes maxed out, so we do know how to add skill points. You are missing the point here, Widowmaker plays a hell of a lot more Zombies then i do, he say's he's not enjoying it, if others come on and feel the same way then we ain't going to get anyone in a server, at the moment we only have about 6 people posting here that they have tested it out and at least 50% say it's too hard, and as i'm guessing most who want to play this will not be super players like you and Mac then it probably needs changing so the majority can enjoy it.....Good work by the way Fishman trying to keep us lot happy, it looks like we are giving you plenty of work m8. BTW, the weapons missing model are aug and spaz12 . some one the weapon's upgrade need to change cause the second upgrade is better than the fifth upgrade lol.

I would like to try this mod, But I get a server timeout on it all the time. I get to "syncrinizing setting" and it just stays at that screen. Again I have had this issue before. Ive asked this before and i'll ask again. Is this due to settings on my end, or the servers end?

I run Win7 64 bit. It seems for whatever reason I can play on the NY servers perfectly, When I try the Chicago servers. same thing happens.

Which compatibility are you running it under. Right now I have iw3mp set to run in service pack 2 compatibiltiy. And is there a differnecr which one it it run under?

Before I installed windows 8 it was under service pack 3...let me try something then ill reboot it then try be about 10 minutes

Ok i'm just about ready to put the finished version of the mod on the server, I have to make a new fs_game folder so we don't have any problems with operator error's lol so we will loose our ranks we had in there and everyone will start a new. We must hurry and get a head start on mrchappie and pancakes lol. Thanks to the BSF Klan for helping me with this mod and my goodness what a crazy mod too. We can start out with the mysterybox for now untill we all get used to the weapons and we can start out "level easy" and work our way up as we go!(but not too easy)

In ROTU 2.1 there are 55 levels per prestige and 45 prestige’s. That means there are a total of 2,475 Ranks to achieve.

 

Once you achieve rank 55, press your "esc" button and click on "Prestige Mode". If it is ghosted out that means you need to get some more kills before you can go Prestige. You DO NOT lose any of your Special Skills points (30 per a class). Once you earn them, you never lose them. As a matter of fact, you have to go Prestige

in order to max out on your Special Skill points.

 

ROTU 2.1 Rank

 

Note: When you are Prestige Level 37, Rank 55 and click on “Prestige Mode”, do not be alarmed if it takes you back to what appears to be Prestige Level 3, Rank 1. For some unexplained reason, the Prestige Symbol for Level 38 is the exact same as it is for Level 3. The rank chart shows they are different, but they are the same.

 

Just keep playing and when you are ready to Prestige up once again it will move you up to Level 39, Rank 1.

Class Abilities

 

Note: For all classes there is a Blue Specialty Bar on the bottom left corner of the screen, right underneath the Green Health Bar. To use your class’s personal specialty double tap your “Use” button (Default is FF).

 

When you use your personal specialty, your Blue Specialty Bar will drop down to nothing.

 

Depending on what class you are, there are 2 ways to build your Personal Specialty Bar back up to full Blue:

 

1. Engineer / Medic – Give out Ammo Cans / Medic Kits to other players

2. Armored - Use Tomahawk / Knife in Melee until Specialty Bar is back to full Blue.

3. All other classes – Get Multi kills until the Personal Specialty Bar is back to full Blue.

 

Soldier:---------------Rank

 

Rampage----------------5

Rifle Expertise--------10% more damage with assault rifles

Gun Master-------------10---Reload faster

Focus-------------------15

Regeneration-----------20---Slowly regenerates own health

Flare--------------------25

Immunity---------------30---Immune from infection

 

Assassin:-------------Rank

 

Assassination-----------5---Able to assassinate enemies by sneaking up from behind and slicing their throats

Way of the Assassin-------- 15% damage Penalty for using fully automatic weapons and all non-silent weapons. On all other weapons a damage Bonus and a 30% melee/crossbow damage Bonus

Silent Kill---------------10---The Assassin’s weapons make less noise and he won’t alert zombies after a successful assassination. Assassination becomes easier

Fake Death-------------15---Able to fake death so that zombies will ignore him. Double tap USE Button

Hitman-----------------20---Deals 15% more damage if zombie cannot see him. Single shot head shots deal another 45% more damage.

Quick Escape-----------25---When health gets below 25%, becomes invisible to zombies and gets a small speed boost. After a few seconds the effect wears off.

Shadow Refuge---------30---While crouching or proning the assassin becomes invisible. The effect lasts until attracts attention to himself.

Ammo Box--------------25---Can drop an ammo box to support himself and other players

Resistant Skin-----------30---Receives 10% less damage. Smaller chance of getting infected.

 

Note: The Armored class has a Tomahawk Hatchet that he can use by pressing the “melee” button. It is effective against all zombies including the Giant.

Medkit-------------------5---Medic has 2 Medkits for healing other players

Paramedic----------------Able to revive a little faster and can cure infections Double tap USE to Cure.

Field Operative---------10---Moves a little faster and does not get interrupted while reviving others or curing infections.

Healing Aura------------15---Medic can create a green healing aura. Double tap USE

Medicine----------------20--Possesses medkit that heals faster and cures infections.

Health Transfusion------25---Able to steal health from zombie and is healed by 15% on damage he does at close range.

Poisonous Bullets-------30---Poisonous bullets that kill zombies fast.

played today with Ramistar, and we had a blast... when i was in alone... no zombies were coming out... but once rami came in it seemed they were everywhere... i will log in again tomorrow evening.
