I have welded aluminum with my MIG welder and the results have been hit and miss . . .mostly miss . .lol . . one thing for sure everything has got to be clean. It does come with a foot pedal. Got the welder for $865 shipped. The welds im doing on mild steel are beautiful!!! Some of those welds on my table there was 1/4in, handled it easily. the smaller welds where easy. I did alot welding on my race car (many years ago)with a miller mig welder and this tig can do all that and more, it just take a bit longer to do.wish i had it for some aluminum i wanted to weld and was unsuccessful with the mig, but I've tried some aluminum welds the other day and did just ok, had one or two good looking welds, but practice makes perfect and im sure ill get there. And stainless steel was as easy as the mild steel. Leadfinger, -cracken- and Dark Asylumn 3 Awards
