map gave file/sum mismatch in the mw2 ftag server after each round

Maybe its just me but its really laggy? Between the mod and map there are so many fx that even muzzle flashes wont play. The usual 'too many fx' messages in the console. Unfortunately sometimes between the mod and the map things are just too much.

thanks for the hints.

There are exist just too many mods :)

I tested the map with a Linux and a Windows Server

In addition, with DemonMOD and AWE4.

I had no problems. :cry:

 

I know the map is very large and has a lot of content

because of this i have not implemented many of my ideas

Now i try to test it with the mentioned mods and hope that the error also occurs, to fix it

Which versions of the mods do you use ?

 

 

OK I'll start ya off. It shuts the Ace Mod Server down. Map is no good.

 

Which version of the map you're talking about, COD4 or COD5 ?

The COD5 version was released in 2011 and worked with the popular mods :blushing:

More FX I say MORE :)   Your map works fine in COD5 This is for your COD4 map you just released Thank You. Maybe a COD4 admin can list the mods.(not the names but what type of mod) My guess is k13 freeze tag I think its from OW, Ace mod, and OW 2 Might have an AWE in there not sure been so many years I looked at COD4

 

P.S. That quote is from Beers and he was giving the COD4 admins a hint on how to test the map out on the servers . It in no way meant it did not work on the ace mod but if it did not it would probably not work on the rest. He a funny guy :)-

The FX seems to be killing it. Even firing a weapon is causing a flexlm error and wont do the muzzle flashes. But it might have less to do with the number of fx but portaling or something? Or maybe some fx where the max distances are too big? I am not well versed in maps but the mod has handles some very big and complex maps in the past without issues. There are also errors about too many concurent sounds. 30 I think it was.

Hi,

 

i reduce the fx "rain" about 50% but the muzzle flashes are not displayed.

In the readme file admins find server cvars to turn off the rain

Think when I connect I get the mods with redirekt.

 

 

Your map works fine in COD5
