So i got an corsair H100i GTX for christmas. Its all set up but im having one debate with myself and getting mixed reviews on google.

The radiator and fans are mounted to the top of the case, should i have the fan taking in air or exhausting air?

You always want them taking air out of the case.

The top 2 pull the air out and if you want, you should be able to  add 2 more on the bottom of the cooler for a 4 fan setup , It's called a  push/pull config . It looks like you have the holes, but i don't know about clearance with your board.

If you are really into overclocking, then I'd add the extra fans. if not, 2 fans should be good for you.

Run it and see what temps your cpu hits.

exhaust. pull that air out of the case. i had to divisible the fans and mount the radiator on top with fans under pushing air through it rather pulling it. I have the same cooler or about the same.

Yes.  The bottom 2 fans would 'push' air towards to rad and the top fans 'pull' the air out so essentially, all 4 fans are moving air in the same direction, outward.  But as Volvo said, check your clearance from your mobo and decide whether you really need them.

on rad's  best have the outside air go through them for is cooler then inside case

if were me i'd  mount if off the back of case with stand-off's to keep the coolest air an no added heat from rad exhaust inside case

shame that you can't open the hoses to pass through case , would void warranty

I'm curious, what is the best way to setup water cooling? Push? Pull? How much difference does it make to have either or?

best have fresh air pull through rad

case air management  and placement of tower matter

air change is the key to best cooling temps

extreme cooling  place rad fan less  out of home window , use anti-freeze in loop   cpu ran @ 6c  while outside was  -15c room was 27c

had to insulate CPU from condensation  with foam and di-electric grease
