I work for a Xerox company, but I sell the software side for the paperless office. I'm screwed because I love it and it's so damn geeky. Pigdog - if you still work for that EMR company I want to talk to you.

Well for 13 years I owned a business with my family selling the all time best past times, cigs and beer.  But thanks to our government we had to close the doors about a year ago.  It was a huge loss to us.  But now I am a lil bit of everything in a supermarket, going to medical school, and *crosses fingers* about to go to work for our local school system.  I am also a full time mom of only one and enjoying time with that special someone in my life now.    Also until this up coming fall, I have taught cheerleading for 5 years and 3 years of softball.  Oh yea, almost forgot.  I am a certified photographer.  Spears and I do photography in our spare time, just starting out.  Would love to open a portrait studio one day.

Well like Laszlo said, I work with him. He described it so well that I wont repeat it. Up until around 4 weeks ago I was the Engineering Manager for the whole location (about 30 people), and was in engineering management for around 4 years. Then my asshole boss told me "thanks for your work as "interim" manager. I brought one of my pet people in now, so you are busted back to private" (well sergeant, at least, I guess)

Fucker put a 10 year hole in my career path, and being almost 50, he basically ended it, so I will be doing Electrical Controls Engineering stuff till I retire in around 30 years or so.....yeah, like Crack and Laz say - Michigan really sucks right now. We are looking to get real busy, but the company are trying to do it all with less people and less money for everyone, which also sucks

 

 

But I guess we have been luckier than a lot of people who lost their jobs altogether, although this kind of feels like "kissing your sister" - LOL

I am a stay at home mother who does photography on the side which is my passion other than my family. I have 3 kids that keep me really busy my oldest plays football my middle is in girlscouts and my youngest is cheering. My middle has some medical issues so she keeps me busy going to the doctors so much.

Currently I work for a small design and media agency in the UK as a web developer, creating web applications for anybody that wants to pay enough, 2 months ago I was doing the same thing but as a self employed developer until there just wasn't enought work coming in to support myself and my family, before this I was a scaffolder here in the UK and did this for nearly 10 years until it started to give me health problems, i think that 10 years of lifting heavy weight in the cold and rain and walking along a 9 inch wooden board 300ft in the air is enough for anyone

I do vinyl graphics as a side job this is my most recent work  , otherwise i work for J & H Oil as a cashier .... hard to find a decent paying job here in Michigan but i'm glad i have one ....

As a side line I do CNC Programming and build computers/servers...been real lazy about that in the past few months, but I need to add more HP to my Harley...so I need funds for jugs, heads and pistons

Well I have worked at Expo 86 than I started working at the Vancouver Convention Center in 1987 and have not left. Started as a general labour than be came a forkilft driver than a crew leader (the guy who runs the crew) doing all of the room set-ups. After 10 years I was made the asst. manager and now I am the Manager of the Department.

I'm working for Air France here in Paris.Coordinating everybody working on a flight, from crews to cleaning staff ect ect,in order to get an 'on time' departure.It can be a very cool job on 'normal' days or a total nightmare when everything goes wrong ( bad wheather conditions,problems whith air traffic control....)

Ex British Army,  now run a small business off my own delivering many varied things across the whole of europe and eastern europe,  looking at selling up and maybe getting paid to do the same job without the high stress levels i get at the mo
