My FPS while playing WOW is usually quite low.

NVIDIA GeForce 7050.  Dell OptiPlex ?  Or older Laptop?

Onboard graphics? or one of those goofy Dell video cards?   I think it's time for an upgrade buddy lol.  Is it a full sized case or a Micro?  It's a miracle that you can play anything on that thing.

I can imagine how bad your lagging in WOW. I feel your pain.

My 6 year old custom built computer lags like shit in Guild Wars 2 when there are other people around and it's almost unplayable on certain World events. But I get 140+fps in DayZ Standalone which is a Much Much Much more graphics intense game. Guess it's one of the WOES of a horribly optimized MMORPG game.

Check out this wonderful video of GTA 4 on it's lowest settings with Nvidia 7050 graphics. You can't get much lower performance. 1/2-1fps lol.

Can you afford to buy a $150 PC?  This Dell is pretty good for the price.   https://www.ebay.com/itm/Dell-Optiplex-990-Intel-i7-2600-3-40GHz-8GB-RAM-1TB-HDD-Windows-10-Pro-j/293249649546?hash=item44470a8b8a:g:RRUAAOSwe3ddY~i0

Good CPU and good memory size and HDD size. i7 2600 is a damn solid performing CPU. It's not overclockable like the 2600K is. But it will run any of the newer games if you upgrade the Power Supply and put in an actual video CARD instead of using the onboard graphics.

Don't try to upgrade the graphics without upgrading the power supply. You'll burn it up.

Hey Dean find out what your machines native resolution  is and set your game to the same one. Should help ya out.  Or just lower your games resolution. I don't know what your running the game at now so I can't give you advice on what to set it at. Ya can always ask one of these rocket scientist to send ya money or some fancy pant parts :)-

P.S. do not give him money or parts he will just end up running a server with just a knife its sad to see :(

I've been getting the same issue with WoW as well, in some areas the game runs smooth as hell but loading up something like Dalaran or even being in Suramar takes the piss and is so choppy. I'd recommend making sure your drivers are up to date and also toning down your graphics a bit and see if you can sort it that way. Might be a graphic issue. Also check if anything else is running on the network and using up bandwidth.
