Strange. Most newer cards will thermal throttle both the GPU and VRMs long before the driver crashes due to heat. I'de say it's defective. RMA the damn thing if you can.

Yeah, that is weird. I guess not ll of the PCB or VRM's are having sensors to be able to cut that out. Plus, at least it does shutdown to prevent (more) damage. I hope he got that RMA support.

So.... Nvidia said that i have to have receipt/invoice to file a RMA ticket. Cause they dont know where i bought the card. And i called the place that i originally bought the card from and they said that they cant Reprint a receipt due to thief reasons.(Have no fucking clue how that has to do with thief). So i guess im just fucked in general...

That is correct, they can only give it once and no reprinting.

What could also be enough, is your proof of buy, that you send them the bank information receipt. They can check that for you. If not, you still have some rights by law. And they can make NVidia clear, that should be enough. They can check with the serialnumber.
(here in the Netherlands, they are more unlucky. We don't have that 2 year rule. We handle with durations of a product)

By the way, if the shop got that invoice, by law, have to work with you. They can see you have that, by them,  and do the RMA for you. They must.

I would actually, make that OEM machine complete, and turn it in. OEM's videocards are not listed with NVidia. Most of the times those videocards are bought in BULK. The only warranty right you have is, with that system, period.

With that said, you have a receipt of that system, nothing else.

IF      you you literally end up hitting brick wall on this, problem could also be if its getting hot and shutting down[ daughters 580 Msi armor did it] black screens and mean only IF  all hope lost try repasting the the GPU chip, know its annoying when it happens to anyone with any parts even not pc related but even out of a 1000 made 10 will  have a fault, even though factory tested there probably just plugged it oh look work done, not stress tested as it takes to long
