JohnnyDos Posted October 20, 2009 Member ID: 77 Group: Fallen Members Followers: 111 Topic Count: 1018 Topics Per Day: 0.19 Content Count: 7527 Content Per Day: 1.40 Reputation: 9175 Achievement Points: 69486 Solved Content: 0 Days Won: 47 Joined: 09/02/09 Status: Offline Last Seen: January 8, 2020 Share Posted October 20, 2009 Well said Mazda.I did my duties Chileno and my wife worked like yours.Man I used to do the laundry no big deal throw the clothes in the machine and push the button.after that throw them in the dryer & push another button.While that is going on get the vacuum out.After that prepare the salad just don't add the dressing.Do a lot of BBQ that way she doesen't have to cook.Also always have a bottle of wine around.That should make them happy then you can party, play ,smoke,and drink.And after my kids got older she went and got a hysterectomy has to take some type of pill though but she is alright with my gaming but then again I'm not on all night and I always have my "Happy Hours"(notice plural) almost daily starting at 3pm.She likes her wine and cigs and me beer & Ganja.Everybody is happy Then I BBQ starting at about 5 - 5:30 eat ,watch the tube till 8-9 then pass out.I wake up about 3 -4 in the morning raring to go she is up around 6 Then always makes me something to eat for breakfast.I have been retired now for 6 years.But when I worked I was always home 2hrs before her and always the house was neat and tidy and no laundry around.When I was on afternoons I made sure that she came home to a tidy house.And she never complained when a few people came over after work on afternoon shift and we would party till 3 sometimes 4 in the morning in my Italian Gazebo ( my garage it was made of blocks )Winter Spring Summer and Fall.Only a few times in the 30 years that I worked did I kinda bum her out cause a few guys got a little voiceterous.So CHILE do the job and shut up.LOL. My wife is Mexican and she loves those crappy mexican soap operas. She made me watch them for about 1 night, and got so sick of me saying "what did he say?, what did she say?" I am now banished to a whole 'nother level of the house. Pity its only from 10-11 at night, but she does leave me alone. Problem is, I also have to 'do things' to get more parts - the good thing is she says "if you stay away from me for a week, you can have your new thingymabob board whatsit (except in spanish). I had to give up a 20+ year career of playing music in bars and taking short road trips, had to buy my ex-boss's masonry business at the worst employment time since the depression just to keep a job,give it up when things were going pretty bad (lot a throat cutting going on in construction) then take on a third shift crappy plant job to keep from losing everything we worked for, just so i could get a couple hours in when she is home watching what she likes on TV. The trick is for me to time myself and not spend more than 1 1/2 to 2 hrs when WE should be chilling together. Since we work different schedules now its not too much problem. Before i had to stand on my soapbox alot and remind her of "all the sacrifices i have made and how hard i work, so just let me have this one thing will ya?!" But i really didnt mind too much. The role of the "husband" is DRASTICALLY different then the role of the "boyfriend". Accepting that at the root level creates a certain forced zen quality. Welcome to the whipped club my friend and good luck.....all husbands need a little of that. Remember....always spoil the women cuz if you dont, it could get worse...oh yes....much worse indeed. Oh yeah, Shadow lady...cmon....you know you dont ever have to worry bout what your husband thinks....do ya?
