    My baby is gone!

2021 Toyota Tacoma. Every airbag deployed. Was a great truck. Kept my wife and 12 y/o daughter safe. I am so thankful that I'm not burying two family members during the Easter week... I have been blessed.

    Home automation

Years ago I started adding home automation to my house, for lighting I wen with the Insteon lighting control system. It worked perfect for years, we could travel and I could program my house for random lighting that made it appear that we were home by never having a sequence that didn’t look programmed. I had scenes programmed for entertaining that set all the interior and exterior lighting up that gave a nice ambiance. Well Thursday my hub controller went off line but still showed active but still leaving me with no control over my lights. I spent time during the weekend going through every aspect of what the problem could be with no resolve of the issue. last night it finally came out. Insteon has disappeared from the market and shut down all there servers and controls leaving all of us that used there equipment high and dry and no way to use our investment in equipment. It wasn’t cheap even though I did the whole install my self. It’s a eye opener when you really think of it. We add companies web based and cloud based systems to our lives with no guarantee that they will be around tomorrow. I hate how everything has gone to company owned and controlled systems that we have to depend on them operating all the time to use what we have already purchased and installed. This also goes for a lot of the apps and programs we use that we use to be able to buy but now have to have a subscription to use. Not real sure we are heading in a good direction with our technology.

WoW I BOW DOWN TO THE ORIGINAL MEMBER WHO WERE THE ORIGINAL IDOTS AND TAUGHT THE NEW (caps off now ) idiots how to be the best idiots possible. Sadly on a side note the original idiots would of had some comments about the size of the dozer compared to the size of a frech canadians wanker covered in maple syrup. with a possible side topic of canadian or american wrapped wanker But still well done. a twisted topic well wrapped in a maple coverd bacon coated wanker.

  32. How can I be correct when that is not what I said? Same ol same ol. Take what someone says and spin it into the exact opposite. Ah well. ?
    1 point
  33. Not sure if what I said was accepted as accurate or not. Or simply unpleasant to read all around. Im sure democrats dont want to hear that Biden, as the winner, is the lesser of two evils. History has shown that voters... except true believers of which there are many more these days... most of the time feel that they have to choose among two bad options picked by the respective parties. Its a very old maxim. We are pretty screwed however if either side of true believers gain absolute power. Which is what they want and to do it with zero opposition. And they will do and manipulate anything to get there. All the while insisting that its the other side that wants it while they dont. The question is which ones know this as those that want the power, and would use it, and which ones actually believe it who will give that power away willingly.

  34. And thus the disconnect. You could have a lot of Biden voters say you are right who will then tell you to look at the worse alternative that you gave them. A lot of people that voted Trump the last time said the same thing to democrats. Look at what you gave as an alternative to him. The lesson of the day is, dont pick a ripe piece of shit as your candidate and then complain when you lose because voters choose a different piece of shit that may not smell quite as bad so long as you dont step on it.

  36. Ah? any of you remember the old Timmah ??, the wild boy, sex n drugs n rock and roll ? now it's gardening, soon the joints will be swapped for a pipe, slippers and gown bought for evenings listening to classical music in his rocking chair. We all get old buddy just accept it, your bunny hops will stop, your rifle waver and before you know it Budman will be kicking your ass. I never got to the Budman stage but we can swap stories about worms, compost and our favourite pesticides freely in these forums. How about a gardening section to go with shooting and fishing, you can post pictures of your cucumber, but not in mens toilets please.

    Sweet Salvage!

Ah dear boy - allow me to let you sleep easy, you are quite right of course the comments are far too tame for these forums. Now this is where you kiddies and snowflakes stop reading while I put @Labob to rest. The TD9 rested, shagged out after f.....g up the beautiful forest, it nestled in a hole it had found before it slept, not the hole it originally intended to be in either, someone must have tampered with the fuel? Nothing felt right, everything was soft and floppy, whereas before it rested it was rock hard, pushing those trees aside with ease, it feared it had the caterpillar STD, rampant in North America since being brought from Mexico by @deerejon. No longer was it proud of being as powerful as a French Canadians 'tackle', but salvation was at hand, one day out of nowhere some sad fckrs who had no lives came to rescue him. Firstly they replaced the maple syrup in the tank, then they stimulated him with multiple strokes of his starter, he soon rose to be the dozer he had once been. With a mighty roar he kicked into life, crushing the sad fkrs under his tracks, including @KaptCrunch the man who had devoted hours to their repair. Satisfied he began levelling the trees in all of North America in an orgy of lust, could no one stop him unless they found the correct grade of bacon, the dozers Kryptonite equivalent, can anyone save the trees ????????????? Next chapter @piglo comes to the rescue better @Labob ???
