Hello all, it’s been a while since I’ve last gamed on server or posted on the site. My boy Readapht got himself a new gaming pc and downloaded the game. Well he talked me into visiting and I got to play on his system a few weeks ago. I caught the itch again and purchased me a new one also and got the game installed last night. It’s good to see some of the players I played with years ago are still active. From the looks of things, I majorly suck at this game so bear with me as I relearn how to play. See ya on the servers.6 points -

When forming a burger for the grill, aim for a ¾" to 1" thickness and a 3" to 4" diameter. The burgers will shrink slightly as they cook, so you want the raw patties to skew a little larger than the buns onto which they'll eventually land. so say 3.5 inches The equatorial circumference of Earth is 24,901 miles (40,075 km). However, from the North Pole to the South Pole, the so-called meridional circumference is smaller, at 24,860 miles (40,008 km). inches in a mile 63360 so divide 3.5 = 18,102.85714285714 round out 18,102.86 in a mile now times 24,901 = 450,779,245.7142857 roundout is 450,779,245.71 burgers arournd the world so times 32 = 14,424,935,862.72 burgers have been eaten in a year TBB let the math speak2 points -

I absolutely love learning new things. Whether little things. Home things. World things. Anything. Let's have a fun fact based thread. I'll start. Did you know the bumblebee bat is the smallest mammel in the world? Weighing in at 0.05 to 0.07 ounces, with a head-to-body length of 1.14 to 1.29 inches and a wingspan of 5.1 to 5.7 inches, the bumblebee bat—also known as Kitti’s hog-nosed bat—is the smallest mammal in the world, according to the Guinness Book of World Records.1 point

Keep in mind what happens when you skimp - the oldest computer can be traced back to Adam and Eve. It was an apple but with extremely limited memory. Just 1 byte. And then everything crashed.1 point -

Same here... I was a pain in the ass as a kid because I was constantly asking questions. I'm not talking about asking others questions, they got tired of that fast. I was a pain in my own ass... I kept asking myself questions. Took a long time to start getting the answers I was looking for. Hence part of my pain in the ass personality and why I usually sound so interested. Because I am. I've been doing lots of research out here where I live. If you're interested I think I can show you how I'm sitting on a time capsule and I have a good idea how it was formed but I'm missing lots of specifics.. when and what order of events. What I've found though in rock just fascinates the shit out of me. I spend hours going through dirt at a time in the Wash where the cliffs have broken off and I'm careful to look at everything as I dig though these large chunks of earth never exposed to anyone ever and I get to see it for the first time. The rocks won't be there long because if Monsson are heavy it will all wash away down the rest of the foot hills. So I have to work fast and I'll never get to it all as it's just impossible. That means I'm going to miss something special. Though more will be coming and if I wanted I can find it all over but I only touch what nature gives me that I know will wash away. I leave even the natural rock gardens on my property no touch zones. It's just freaking gorgeous the way it is left natural. The Killer Bees out here... I have been studying them. They're freaking cool. I hang out with them at a water hole I give out and once a clan gets use to me they are super cool. I let them climb on me and I can show you what I learned about them this spring and Summer when they come around. So many kinds I am finding but one clan or tribe or hive will stick around and hold guard of my water hole I leave out. I want to capture one event I did last year. Last year a killer bee got in my cabin and that is rare since I leave water out. So I go and get him on my hand and take him outside to show it were the water was. When I reached down to place it on the edge of the water tray two other killer bees instantly attacked it and it flew off. Then I understood this hive.. I call a tribe, keeps the other bees away. I was stung 5 times my first year hear and until I started leaving water out I was going to continue to get stung. I keep my tribe happy is why. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Otherwise a Fun Fact for today is Color Blindness in some color blinded folks. Not talking about Anti Racists.. talking about folks who have a problem seeing colors. If that person can see well at night better than most people, there's a reason why. Their colorblindness is because they see part of the InfraRed Spectrum. Richard (84 years young 1 mile away neighbor is color blind. I asked him, "do you see good at night". He says, "I see real good at night." Then I explained why. He thought that was so freaking cool and it helped him understand why he was different.1 point
