Back in the late 1990's-2000 I played Delta Force online a lot and my handle was "SteakKnife"  (I used the CQB perk a lot which allowed you to run very fast when armed with a knife).  People were always referring to me as "Steak" for short when typing messages to me and I got so used to being called Steak that I decided to shorten it.  It originally didn't have anything to do with meat.

Back in the 70's I had a lot of bushy hair. So my Grandpa being an old logger called me Bushape. Referring to what the old loggers called Bigfoot in the logging camps, here in the Pacific NW.  So out of respect for my Grandpa  and my story below I started calling myself Bushape. I used it as my CB handle back in the 70's as well. So I have been called Bushape for 39 years. I still have hair but my forehead keeps getting longer.

One time right after I graduated from high school. A friend and I were camping along a creek. We were actually sober, no dope and no booze. We went to go to bed in the tent and we kept hearing something walking on the rocks by the creek. So we were laying there listening when our fire burst into flames. It was just smoldering a little before that. So we jumped out of our tent and kept hearing noises in the brush close by. We turned the headlights on in the truck and a big ass hairy thing walked across the road in front of the headlights. It was Bigfoot. We got a real close look at it, maybe 100' or less. It scared the shit out of us, we got in the truck and drove about five miles. Pulled into a campground and started a big ass fire and didn't sleep all night. We went back for our things the next day.  This is an honest to God true story.

I would have gladly picked a different name. In fact, I tried seemingly hundreads of combinations but......... You fuckers already took the name!!!! And after about the 20th attempt, I found my self exclaiming "Damn it!" and by the 100th attempt  the right combination of letters finally arrived minus the "!"  and subbed with "1"       Damit!

Over the years I've played under various names, started gaming when the original Doom came out where you had to use null modem cable to connect two PCs.  My brother and I would host LAN parties and we'd always come up with unique names to identify which computer was whose on the network - names like Smashing Anus, Anal Leakage or Rectal Probe.   At one point I was Ruptured Spleen, which was quickly shortened to Spleen, thus my xfire name: spleen007.

My real name is Marty.  In grade school everyone would call me Farty Marty.  Pharticus is the spin-off of those less than glory days.

I have a sick sense of humor and for some reason I enjoy offending snobs and people who think they are better than anyone else. By no means does my name refer to my finger ending up some foul place or that I have a hygeine problem. I was working in a calibration lab in California and we had a new female co-worker who just started working there. She came in with an attitude and I found out quickly how to get to her. One day I was talking to her and sniffing my fingers. Everyone but her thought it was hilarious! Looking back that was pretty childish of me to do.......but it sure was a hoot back then!

My story is boring. I made the name up sitting in front of the character screen when making my first game name for an MMO called VanGuard. Decided I would use it for everything, as I started playing cod2 about the same time. Was originally meant to be pronounced like R-E-en, but I got sick of correcting people when they called me Airy-in. So it just suck as Airy-in. =)

Well....since I began online gaming which was back when Outlaws came out....I began playing the game with my brothers and a bunch of cop friends.  I was the only girl and being a good girl I came up with Angel.  But a few years later...I picked back up gaming and my dad when I was little, cause I am the baby,  would always play that song My Little Runaway...because he was always working and before he knew it, I was grown.  So I started going by RunawayAngel.  But when I joined XI, I had to drop that and just went back to angel...but thats why I refuse to change my name.  I will always be Daddy's Little Girl.  :)

T-Rat comes from the old dos restricted 8.3 file format. Tunnel Rat was too long so... T-Rat. Many hours playing Doom, Decent, Total Annilation (best rts), Enemy Territory (best FREE game ever), and others. If you ran into T-Rat then, I'm the same guy.

Favorite early games included most of Sierra's stuff, but the Leisure Suit Larry series was tops.

Highest Regards,

Steak - I remember playing with you back in DF1 and DFBHD.  I was going by Barndog then. I was in a clan but due to old age and killing too many brain cells drinking I can not remember the damn name of it.  We had a really cool website that had Springsteen "Born in the USA" playing on it.

Back in the Quake days I played as FireGlo330. That's for the Rickenbacker guitar model & color. I used a few different handles when MOH came around (Armitage Shanks, BogRoll, DukeofPuke & others come to mind). When COD came out I noticed it specified who killed who.....hmmmmmm. Always hated being the one killing the last cold beer at a party.........and so it stuck. Been TheLastColdBeer through clan WDA, StrictlySinister, and now >XI<.

My first name was TheLittleRascal because I'm short for my age, at 13 I'm 4'9'. But I took off the 'TheLittle' and now I'm just Rascal. (:

I played D and D as a kid (for about 5 minutes, till I realized I would NEVER get laid like that)

One day I was watching Reno 911 and this scene came on. As my real name is Nick (surprise, surprise) I laughed my ass off and I used it once during lunchtime COD at work before the Fun police shut us down, and it stuck

This is the scene with the dude from the old King of Queens show (can't remember his name off-hand)

I like to keep my house at about 68 degrees F year round.  My friends used to joke around and call me Jack Frost.  Have used it since COD.
