By far the best mobile out there. I am planning on doing an iPhone forum app for XI, just after finishing the additions to Ultrastats and XI Tournaments website. I've finished getting my virtual mac OSX working and downloaded the development SDK, such as Xcode. I plan on using a simple SQL snapin connector to our database, ultilising login credentials to ensure people only see the forums they are entitled to. Again I will need a little assistance from Phantom to make the connection. As well as Rockape for testing with his iPhone (old generation).

It also works on my HTC desire Hd(probably one of the best phones out there lol eg. flash, no restrictions and not tied to itunes etc) The ipad is great for many thing due to its screen size but still has all the lovely APPLE restrictions unlike the HTC. But I do think a cut down app would be great Awards

I can see the full site on my phone.. but our webpage has alot of data on it.. its very graphical and that would be hard on data plans. I know those who like their iphones love them as we who cant stand macs hate them.. Ill even admit t hey are a nice pice of equipment.. but in th end Android is the bigger market.. Released August 31st With andoid now at 41.8% of the market and apple at 27% and rim at 21% I tried to copy and paste the URl for the wepage with this info but for some reason it will not paste. I have been doing mobile apps for a number of years now. When i started i looked at all the areas of development of each device, Of course i was doin windows mobile at first as at that time there was no android or Apple mobile devices, then apple came along and in the beginning it was to cost prohibitive to get into apple development, as well i did not like the restrictions that Apple put on you as developer. When Android burst on the scene I at first wondered how it would do, but soon realized it was gogin to be a market leader.. I wont lie if they had released windows 7 mobile at the same time or before android i probably would have went that route as i was already a windows, and windows mobile developer. I have since looked at windows 7 mobile.. its a good platform.. they just waited to long to release it.. Rim wont go away.. becase of its leading security capabilities companies and governments will continue to court rim(rim playbook is the only tablet authorized by the US governmet for use) According to articles recfently releasd.. RIM's QNX os will support android apps on its tablets by years end and their phones will follow possibly in end of 2012. If this happends this will be huge to RIM.. the security of blackberry is the best.. You dont see any countrys threathning to stop the use of any other phones except Bacakberry.. thats becasue they cant monitor it.. they cant control it.. they cant break it.. Apple's success mostly is because of its marketing. No doubt about it the marketing by Steve Jobs on the iphone and Ipad was brilliant..They are good products as well.. But he androids pads and phones are just as good.. Personal preference after that is what sells. I dont like Mac products so i wont own one.. Others are different of course.. Awards
