I lived in New Brunswick for 5 years...jeez the price of a 24 was the same as yours...$40 to $45....ridiculous... Look, brand name beer from the grocery store here in Quebec...a buck a pop basically for 5% alcohol... the 4% LITE goes for less... Awards

However, I buy my German beer (5%) from the local ALDI at an equivalent price of around C$25 per 24 bottles (33cl each). Beer taxes here are too high. For a pint (56.8cl) of real ale one pays around £3.20 (C$5) in a pub. Awards

Exactly what I was thinking, my wife makes her own wine and her cousin makes his own beer and their both good, a little more expensive then domestic here in the US but not as expensive as 24 for $40.
