Nah not at all. Tho there is something to be said for lesbo prison pornos. Actually, there is a UT2K4 custom sniper map of a porn shop. Whoever made it probably searched around on the internet for every single dvd cover he could find to put on all the boxes. In all categories.

 

I remember that map was a great one.

there was a UT2K4 map like that as well. the only way out was to get telethawed. or round end.

If you do that print a message... "Go directly to jail! Do not pass Go! Do not collect $200!". To be fair need a timer of maybe 3 minutes. But give every teleporter the ability to do it. Just takes a little bit of scripting I imagine added to the trigger. %10 chance you go to jail.

They might if the teleporters go into some really nice areas. Such as if they were the only ways to get into the tall guard towers with the turrets... assuming they are added to one or two of them. Its all about making the risk worth it.

Now I have to figure out how to make custom textures. I have successfully created the .iwi file and all that jazz, but it won't show up in radiant for some reason. Not in my texture list. Argh.

if i was u i wouldnt use fog like sammy say it causes lag like the one we play now with the trains it sux mab u could make it an overcast with rain that would be cool..oh please no tunnels we got enough maps with tunnels lol

The problem with that one AGX or whatever map is that it has too much fog, plus too much other stuff (water dripping, etc.) going on.

 

In any case, I figured out the custom texture thing. Windows 7 sort of messes things up, because it wants to save files in the AppData area, and that is where it was saving my .gdt file, so it wasn't being found by Radiant when I loaded it. When I saved it into the source_data folder where COD4 is actually installed, then it worked fine.

 

And so I have put my first couple in:

You could make big a poster on a wall of 'caught while escaping' of members that were shot and killed. With a big red 'X' over the pics.

To keep materials down I imagine its possible to combine many posters into a single 2048x2048 image. Then set the uv's for each poster quad to the specific poster.

HUh I wouldn't go past 1024 and that would be for a skybox. 512 is ussualy more then enough for a poster. If you look at 512 x 512 in true size in the game your acuallly reducing the size for it to fit.

For example 2048x1024 for 8 ( 4 x 2 of 512wh) posters. Map the quad to the section of the image the poster is in. That way only one material is needed not 8.
