If it wasn't for Bret you would not be watching the Vikings in this game. Even at 40 I would take him over anyone in the NFL with the exception of 3 or 4 qbs. Blame 5 turnovers and an offensive line that let him get pummeled time and time again. The mental mistake of 12 men in the huddle. He would have never been throwing the ball when he was picked if it wasn't for that. Some of the throws he made to get them down the field were amazing. At 40 or any age he is amazing. Be lucky you got to watch him play in your lifetime. I'm guessing you haven't competed in anything athletic at a high level to have any clue what goes into this. He had a guy open for a split second on the sideline that may have got them 7-10 yrds is what he missed. They would have never been in the situation if someone would not have been in the huddle as the 12th man. You would have seen a run up the middle to set up around a 40 yarder. Its a fans right to complain but it annoys me when people whine and don't know half of whats going on in a game. The man was hit left and right...LATE...no officials would call those hits.... No excuse, but I am not as offset as some are...we had an awesome season. I am glad I felt like a little girl again...my father taught me football when i was 4 years old. When the purple people eaters and the tarkington lost 4 times!
