How do i install this again through window7, i am getting a message that it is not compatible with win7, i know there is something we do to make it work, i ran it through win7 last year?

Aah that's it thanks Google, only problem is i have now is my cod2 disk is stuck in my disk drive it don't recognise disk so it won't eject, what a stupid fucking PC when it don't give you a manual button for your disk drive :no

SOB isn't there like a little pin-hole in the front of your deck?Take a paper clip or maybe a thin stiff piece of wire and shove it in that hole and it should release the carriage.Hope this helps. Edited by JohnnyDos

try go to computer then go to ur cd/dvd drive... right click on it then choose "eject"

I have win7 too, and today I installed cod2 easily

Only that I have win7 ultimate and start that game in xp mod

Thanks Johnny, i had to wait for "my computer" to reload (strange) now i get the option to eject again, it worked now just trying to install.

there is a small hole on CD drive... shut down PC...and pushing a needle inside

How many patches? i installed 1.1 1.2 and 1.3 but it ain't showing me any servers at all, i put server name into my favourites which it accepted but when i refresh there is nothing there, if i try to join through HSLW i get this message "Can't execute Cod2MP_s exe, you must set right game directory" i have done this before but have forgot what i did, i know i need to change something in HSLW but what is it?

I sorted it now thanks Rock, i just fiddled about in the HSLW settings and changed the path etc, i'm downloading map now. :thumbsup:
