They either come up randomly, come up when I click a legitimate link (like the forums tab in here) or they are highlighted and linked within a word on the page I am looking at. The protocol says, "HyperText Transfer Protocol with Privacy." Also when I close Internet Explorer I get the "Internet Explorer has stopped working" message. Correct run in safe mode after updating malewarebytes 1st....If by chance it prevents you from updating download malewarebytes to a thumb drive reboot in safe mode then launch malewarebytes from thumb drive it will auto update and run..... And a good virusscanner will prevent you from malware. I have Avast antivirus and that seals the deal for me (blocks sites who send out malware and other evil things). Running something like FSecure or similar Internet Security Suite, for around $50 a year, has always prevented me from having to deal with such things. I know there are free ware options that are great, but I'm lazy.. $50 bucks a year and I don't have to even think about it is a pretty good deal to me. Thank you all again for the help! look i was getting the same thing brat...but i found it was one of my addons....post list of addons and i see if u had/have the same one i did....all i did was disable my add on and all is well and i stop getting them popup windows and links stop showin up in our forums as well...oh post list of ur extensions as well...its def on of those that causing it for sure...
