I saw the movie Anchorman recently. Put anything on the telepromter and he would read it without thinking. If you havent seen it, instead of the usual 'good night' message someone wrote 'go fuck yourself' and he didnt realize what he said until someone showed him the tape afterwards.

 

I imagine some of those on Fox are the same. Not because they are stupid. But because they are reading what they were told to.

A cop was recorded beating a woman, and as usual the peanut gallery has come up with their own conclusions about what happend and what should be done to the cop before any facts are known. Guess what? It doesn't have a fucking thing to do with politics.

Pretty standard stuff actually to keep people from making money off of their works. But being a news channel they would be hard pressed to use that legalese to stop people from criticizing the network while showing their logo.

Ive met my fair share of awesome cops in my life time one of which happens to be a very good friend of mine and an RCMP officer, and like any trade out there, their is your dicks and your diddlers, your aggressive and your passive ones. Ive also met my fare share of bitter cops that think they own the world. Well these are typically the cops that are always finding themselves in a heap of shit.. Shit the deserve most times. I think in all fairness sometimes the aggression of an officer is brought out by the stupidity of citizens when dealing with the police, ive been on several ride alongs with my friend and have witnessed first hand the uncooperative nature of some people and it causes the officer to react differently that they would prefer. Yes sometimes uncalled for but they are human as well. We all have a melt down from time to time. And as LOM said, we have no idea what happened before the video started, we only seen the finale.. Which brings me to my next thought about this.. If anyone is naive enough to actually believe that this is getting worse, i can assure you it is likely not. We just see it now, youtube, cellphones, CCTV EVERYWHERE, all things that didnt really exist 15 years ago. It is all now up front and center and easy for news medias to get there fingers on.. Its what makes and sells news today.. 

 

To sum it up, there duty is to serve and protect and i HATE seeing people put down ALL cops for one cops wrong doing. Seeing them in action many times and seeing the utter shit they have to deal with would make you highly respect officers. MOST of us couldnt handle there job.. Give them respect and i bet you will get respect back.. Try it, it wouldnt hurt.

i use to work at hardees in my early 20s and one of our reg cops use to come would tell us some crazy shit he done as an officer....one story still sticks to me this day over 20 yrs now lol....but he told me that when he pulls over a drunk person driving when he didnt feel like takn them  to jail...he would handcuff put em in back of his car take his keys away...then have his car towed...then go in back alley somewhere take cuffs off and beat the living daylights out of him then let him go...but he wouldnt beat them to where they need hospital or anything just basically teach them lesson bout driving drunk...not sure if that what u should do ...but i despise drunk drivers....so small part of me liked him doing it lol

Well I suppose its better than having to deal with cops from the 50's. Or 60's. Or in many places even 70's. No excuse but back in those days few knew about it because there were no cameras. These days it still staggers the imagination that cops would do this when everyone has a camera and can get something online within minutes.

By the way, idiot cops are found around the world and recorded beating people all of the time. Here is a Canadian cop that nearly beat a blind doctor to death, that is if you can believe what you read in the news.
