Since EA annoucned the end of support for the SIms 2 with the Sims 4 coming out later this year, they offered all those that had Sims 2 previously to upgrade to the Ultimate Edition for free. BUT, the truth is you don't even need to have had the game in the past...you just need an Origin account. Simply go to Origin -> Redeem Product Code -> Enter 'I-LOVE-THE-SIMS' without quotations and you'll get it for free. Just thought I'd share! The Sim's is a great series, 2 was one of my favorites. I have never been happy with the fact that for the game and all expansions you have to spend hundreds of dollars tho. I had a buddy that had a AMD 386 "at the time king" compared to my 8088 it was the shit. He had that game playing 24/7 and the only game he played... this was 1993 mind you. Doom was way too much for his computer and ours. If you computer lagged in Doom 1 , 2 and other... everyone lagged. hahahaha I tried to play the SIMS 1 on my 486DX2 66 and it was way to fast compared to his. Lots of drama would happen when I was gone. Plus I only wanted to destroy shit. 911 was nothing compared to what I did.
