I hope so  - otherwise we would have to deal with your relatives from another planet - sheeeet - to gross to even think about!

I remember seeing that comparison a year ago or something like that. Of course a lot red giants are that way because they exploded and obliterated whatever planets were around them. Makes one wonder what life those planets may have had.

The recent thinking is that the 100 billion galaxies figure is an over estimate by 10x...Even if this is the case the number of galaxies is still mind boggling...

In terms of intelligent life, there is the possibility that we are alone even with all those billions and billions. Someone has to be the first. Maybe that's us.

I just did some checking... I thought it was a billion or so... nope. 100 Billion. WOW

  1. one hundred billion galaxies
  2. According to the best estimates of astronomers there are at least one hundred billion galaxies in the observable universe. They've counted the galaxies in a particular region, and multiplied this up to estimate the number for the whole universe.
  3. How do we know how many galaxies are in our universe ...

Apr 1, 2014 - All in all, Hubble reveals an estimated 100 billion galaxies in the universe or so, but this number is likely to increase to about 200 billion as telescope technology in space improves, Livio said.

    ------------------------------------

Indeed Mind Boggling numbers. That means trillions and trillions of planets. What a cool cosmos we live in.

They have to be careful of that number however based on that reasoning. You cannot look at a forest in Colorado and from that deduce that we live on Endor.

in my opinion their Galaxies upon Galaxies and on the other side of some membrane we will hit someday are more and more Galaxies forever.

For something to go on forever... you probably have some impossible possibilities.

Perhaps the universe is actually round but we cannot perceive or understand it yet. Scientists will say otherwise. Then again, scientists also once insisted the atom was the smallest object in existence. These days a lot of the scientific 'establishment' will not accept the mere possibility of quantum mechanics. Because much of it would show their own theories about the universe are wrong.

I used to think possibly that the universe could be round or like a ball as a kid. Then one night thinking about it I realized no matter what there has to be something on the other side of that sphere. Not to mention the other dimension.

What I am learning...  it goes in forever.. and it goes out forever. Meaning.. an atom.... you never get to the end. Talk about a mind fuck. We are 100% a mathematical equation. We are mostly empty space.

Take the empire states building and take out all the void space and it will be the size of a grain of rice. Take all 8billion humans and remove all void space and we will fit in a grain of sugar. We are very very very very small.

Our Atoms in our Matrix world are fulled with subatomic partials producing energy. Every atom is an energy. What we all are is energy... a manipulated energy like cast aluminum or stainless steal is by man.

I am studying quantum physics and it is really amazing how math is figuring this out. We are a math program. :)

Maybe there is something on the other side. Until someone proved the world was round there was no other side, even tho it was there all along. Go deep enough and you reached Hell. But, what was underneath Hell? Super Hell? In the past, when you asked such questions you werent just ridiculed. You were burned at the stake. Funny tho. Where exactly is Hell? Another dimension? Its not underneath us. Unless I suppose it is some big area hovering over the core. In which case for all we know Hell has its own Hell. Which would make us its Heaven. Interesting thought.

They have proved the other dimensions. A parasitical called the Higgs boson that was mathematically prophesied.

We are a result of math. DNA is math....... your hate is math........... your love is math............. you existence is...............
