I am at a loss and have no idea what to do next. So if you have any idea please let me know. All hardware is new and I have the highest connection Xfinity has available in this area. When I do speed test it maxes the meters out. Yet when I am trying to do anything it acts like the old dial-up connection I had years ago. When it does connect it runs fast like normal then within 5-10 seconds it is squelched don't to no connection to do anything with. We have tried different ports and a new CAT6 cable. The only thing left is to try the new PCie internet adapter I bought, but the realtek one is brand new as the motherboard is brand new. Please help if you have any suggestions what I can do to fix this once and for all. Awards

What exactly is the problem? You're using an Ethernet connection to the router, and when you play you get a bad connection? Have you looked at your ping? What about your FPS? You could try resetting your router.

I am wondering if there is some setting somewhere that is glitching on me. As it does it about the same time every week and also seems to go away the same way! Yes it is a very odd issue! Awards

You could manually search and delete all the registry keys if you knew exactly which keys to delete. But that may take hours to dig through and delete the correct ones.Even after you uninstall Realtek crap it leaves several dozen keys behind in the registry. I use the windows driver or the driver that came with the motherboard and Never update it. Windows registry has gotten ridiculously huge and complicated since win 98 Awards

I had to reboot it and it scanned the drive in the procewss and when it was over it said there was a driver error and had me reboot again and then all seems well at this point! Idk what really happened but I am back up again! Awards
