The only way to know for sure would be for both you and one of these 'others' to both perform the steps on https://www.xtremeidiots.com/topic/58088-network-guide/ and send me the results. Different ISPs will mean different routing etc so that is a likely cause. It would not be specific to our services but to any service hosted in the same data centres that we use. Awards

But to clarify are you saying that sometimes on the current server it goes to 275? If so could you get me a tracert of it at 320 and on at 275 and I can take a look. Morris 1 Awards

I will tracert for you and post when I have both examples. Dropping back down to 275 is a rare occurrence but it does happen. I guess the server move to Canada added more distance and therefore increased the ping as a result, but the fact that some times it does come right is confusing. I will let you know when I have both tracerts. Cheers Awards

I wrote a script that Geo-Mapped Nightos connection accross the globe and came out with this: Some of the points are a bit iffy and default to nearest city or country. I kind of like the script and may refine it and stick it on a website. NITRO 1 Awards

I play less these days due to the extra ping. It would be great to play more often if I could get back to 275. 320 is just frustrating after a while. Anyway it is what it is, I'll call them and see what they say. Awards
